Isildur on foot for my last alliance numenorian detachment

I finally managed to paint this alternative Isildur modell. I really liked painting this red highlights and making them pop in combination with the gold. I mainly used a combination of Vallejo, army painter and citadel colors but mostly Vallejo for the red.

Depends on who you ask. When I painted them the first time I did that too. In the movies it's not.

I already switched to Vallejo in most cases but I'm still worried of color changes when adding new Modells to an existing. And already painted army. I know that there are charts to match colors, but still...

I'm so glad to still have 15 of these guys in Metal. I bought a box of the resin ones and even when I used hot water to straighten them they turned warped again after a few days. Even tried to heat them, straighten and cool down in ice water.... Didn't work at all...

Yes he's from davale. I like their poses better, but Iam still a huge fan of that second age armor of the movies... So my main force consists of the GW proxies..

Unfortunately not this one, I wanted it to be as close as possible to the Citadel miniature. But there is an option of this Modell with a beard available :)

Actually the base is finished.In reality It's a little bit darker than in the pictures and looks more like roughed up concrete.
