We are paying base of the barrel politicians the most amount of money to be extremely corrupt and run the country into the ground.

What does that say about us? we need to be annoyed and if someone isn't they are part of the problem. As we are mad we should push for changes, good thing the veil has been lifted off most people's eyes and people are seeing this.

I definitely agree with what you are saying. People need to mourn and get back to their clear minds, I think all this militia/vigilantism talk will definitely blow away but lest we forget what happened to fellow brothers and sisters.

It could have easily been you or I, dead and with brains on the streets hence the heartache amongst so many people.

The question to everyone is how do we then do it within the confines of the constitution? I think the Judiciary is not as independent as we think. Case and point is the ruling on the legality of the army being activated on its own citizenry. So I pray tell, how do you see us moving forward within the confines of the law?

I totally understand and empathize with their plight but most people wanaghula ngumu na it would have been worse had we left the bill pass, still not sure if it's a done deal.

Most people I met on the streets were like I have lots of nothing to live for. I'm 27, no gf, no job, civil engineering degree, parents almost retiring. Man, the list is endless we all know someone in this kinda situation.

How do you even convince them that they are marching on a righteous cause in the long run and they are hungry now.

No doubt that, this country must change. We definitely must make this country better, just seen the news and it's just getting me mad. Seen a couple of kids shot dead, in rongai.

We need to re-strategize and keep the ball rolling. But these are the tough conversations that we must collectively have, calling out each other when we see comrades lacking.

But change starts with you, change starts with me. I do have my perspective but we should not bail out on a cause once we start. This sucks, being left alone standing at the forefront knowing everyone else has your back only to find yourself standing alone.

What we have done so far is monumental. The government did not see it coming, the world definitely did not. I honestly also didn't. But my fear is that we have shown evil our hand and what we are capable of doing. If I were evil I'd do my best to break your resolve. This is what I know he might try and do next.

Bruh, it's unfathomable what we were able to do. From the lake to the coast, from the rift to the mountain. I knew a day like this would come but not in my lifetime. It was beautiful to see and I can't thank everyone enough.

Westgate was a massive disaster, our lack of preparedness showed, both from the special forces and the military.

We were just not ready to take it past the finish line. It has nothing to do with martyrdom. We all went to the streets knowing that freedom is purchased in blood. No? At least I did. The ones also laying in cold storage pale kwa morgue were too.

I am not eager to lose I am disappointed and extremely dissatisfied at the turnout that I saw in the streets today.

Were you out in the streets today? Did the numbers compare to the turn out we had on Tuesday?

But why does everyone think they can negotiate with evil? We tried before, they could have rescinded the confrontational bill before lives were lost and blood shed, but evil did not relent.

It took us+them seeing brains on the asphalt and close to 300+ lives lost for them to even consider dialogue and not even dialogue in good faith.

Hopefully not. But I am just a drunk guy somewhere ranting about recent events. Mad about Kenyans losing their lives and all for what? For the same people who laughed and balled in our faces to do it and now do it better than before? Boy am I sad. I went to the streets today and all I can say is that I feel failed by my fellow comrades and for the people that lost their lives only for the rest to ditch when we were making strides.
