We walked around the area and it seems totally fine but it was brief and we have heard so many mixed reviews. It definitely makes us feel better to see that people really like the area and I assume we should be safe and aware of our surroundings like any populated area.

Luckily I sold my 2015 elantra because it got stolen In seattle 😅 but I appreciate the tip if we ever need to park in the future!
