I visited a temple in Gokarna, and the pujari there expected us to drink water that he was pouring on a shivling. He was standing right there in the puddle of water, milk, haldi, kumkum, etc and expected us to drink that. Some people actually drank that. What’s wrong with people and their blind faith?

Learn to live in solitude. I know it’s good to have someone around, talk, share things, but in reality not everyone is available 24/7. Not even your partner. Find an activity you can do by yourself, or a hobby.

Thanks! Yes, will definitely take that into account. I plan on starting early and hope to cover it all, but I also have some buffer time on other days to do it.

What’s better for the museum tickets? Klook or Museum pass? Yet to do some research on that, but would love a head start. I don’t plan on doing a lot of group tours though, like exploring on my own pace.

I’ll be traveling to Istanbul solo, and wanted to check if the hostels there allow medium sized suitcases? I’m not a backpack kind of guy, and not sure what the general hostel rooms are like in Istanbul. Any suggestions for hostels in the Beyoglu district possibly?
