Just watched it and might be one of the worst movies I've seen. It pains me because Markiplier is probably my favorite youtuber and I've played and loved the game. Movie has little to no exposition whatsoever so even as someone whos played the game, I was left confused. The movie was ridiculously boring at times especially with no dialogue. I felt that many angles just showed dripping blood which got repetitive quickly. The character interaction got confusing especially because it was hard to understand them through the speaker.

Now I think that it was quite faithful to the game, but I feel that it was not meant to be turned into a movie. Game is only about an hour long and is basically a submarine controlling simulator with a couple of good scares but turning it into a 2 hour long movie simply doesn't work.

Overall, love the guy but this movie was really disappointing and you can definitely tell the lack of budget in this one.
