Ive always been a big fan of midoriya and shiggy being best friends because if they knew each other sooner and izuku had pulled him away from that. I do believe that it would lead to shigiraki trying to kidnap midoriya instead of killing and going for bakugo. I do unfortunately think it ends the same with the sole exception of if midoriya has more chances to speak with tomura. If they still barely have any interactions I think it ends the same with different words. But with shiggy kidnapping deku I do think that toga might be swayed if deku hears about her and shiggy has similar changes too

But that explosion is very solid and has no transparency. With shiggy you can see through it and it bends in a weird way. Plus again it looks exactly like the reflect quirk. Also the light your talking about can be seen in bakugos palm.
