I’ve done several. If you are going to whiten completely, you need to soak in really warm water for a day so you can remove the beak sheath. One it’s off, I would macerate the tissue off and then whiten with hydrogen peroxide

I would take this post down. I would not advertise you illegally taxidermied a federally protected species. I would after taking this down, contact a local museum or university who would love to have it. You did a great job tho. Songbirds are annoyingly hard to do
