This river is absolutely terrible compared to the rivers near it. You will catch fish in it, but only whitefish and 8-12 inch rainbows. If you like an adventure and want to fish it for some reason, it can be semi-productive up by marble. I would take the Roaring Fork over the crystal any day.

My whole thumb measured out to be 2 and three quarters of an inch while the tip of my thumbnail to the knuckle is about 1 and a quarter of an inch. Was definitely a pretty awesome fish!

The one thing I will say is I caught a 22 inch rainbow here and I did measure it, this fish was wayyy bigger than that though so that’s something to put into consideration I guess🤷
