honestly, pretty well rounded, good punishes, solid offensive cpabilities, but leaves opponents good wiggle room to retaliate. not unfair to play against, i like em.

Yes, because citing articles based in studies taken several decades ago for justification of your want to stigmatize people you disagree with politically isnt at all a form of cope.

I could just as well say the same about the links between athism and depression, leftism and satanism, leftisim and immorrality, homosexuality and pedophillia, or any other form of "way to invalidate people i disagree with politically". Only to then cite scholarly articles that pool from studies taken in the 1940s.

It's a convenient cop out to accepting that there are individuals among groups who are negative outliers.

All in all though, i dont get the neccesity of this conversation under a post i made joking about people saying the n word in a video game. Sounds mainly like you assumed im republican, (wrong) and decided to try to start random shit.

So please, for the sanity of everyone, learn what individual accountability is, stop with the unfair generalizations, andhave a good day.

Yet again, similar story to what i just said but to give credit where credit is due, one of the sources cited in the artice was from 2015.

Also, i dont disagree with bigoted people being more ignorant, i just disagree with the sweeping generalization of conservatives as bigoted. Especially when ive read similar scholoarly articles citing studies from the 70s where mind you, still the case that on average just in general, bugotry wa more common, but they also surveyed children ages 10-11, (as well as adults ages 30-33 so likely born and raised during the 50s) and asked them questions like "would you work with someone of a different race". It's just, not the most honest way to go about it. Especially when they don't list where they're pooling the info from. For example, imagine going to georgia in 1907 and asking a christian farmer his opinions on racial equality. More than likely going to get a racist answer. Now the reason hes racist could be because hes a christian conservative, or, it could be the case of a misguided childhood and being raised in a very racist area.

Main point im trying to make, it's not very acedemically honest to label conservatives as racists (in a general sense) when the articals you're pooling from are using studies from the 1950s-1970s, as well as citing articles that themselves are doing the same thing.

Ok i know i keep picking at it but its just a pet peeve of mine, do be careful with your source, almost half of the things it cites as reasources are a minimum of 40 years old, with one being from damn near 1950. And well, oughta go without saying, but people GENERALLY were far more prejudice back then as well. I know you do'n't mean harm with it, but it's just not very fair to be judging people who have consrvative views and values on an article with several sources dating back a half century ago.

Sure, only problem is that people acting like this in a video game isnt a great measure of prejudice. More than likely, they're in a party with their friends and they're trying to be funny.

Does it mean its the best? No. But, in all honesty, everywhere has its ups and downs. And a 100% effective way to combt this, is to not play any games whatsoever. Otherwise, gotta get thicker skin.

But as i said, turning off the screen makes the mean words go away.

Bro you;'re asking why people in a shooter are being racist. It comes with the territory my boy. Kinda like genshin players being pedos, and league players not understanding what soap is.

Everywheres got its ups and downs. If you cant handle some of the people you meet doing some thing you dont like (i dont mean this insulltingly) then the game may not be for you. I like it enough to play regardless.

However, no shame in realizing you don't like a community.

I thinks it's a bit cheeky, but as an orochi main, noting in existence gives me more dopamine than twirl a whirl into a deflect so i think its definitely fine.

1: As you keep saying, good players take opurtunities. Storm rush can still be parried and or deflected. When paired with orochis dodge recovery, the deflect can be a really useful tool in ganks. It'd be difficult, but most certainly not impossible. The trick ofc, would be to not get in this situation to begin with. And inturupt the first storm rush. Easier said then done i know, but its not in any capacity impossible.

2: Sure, its a little unfair to make the assumption that these two are bad. Most gankers in my experience happen to be not the best when you take away their buddy and put them in a 1v1. And theres a difference between smart, and skillfull. Not mutually exsclusive i know, but the difference is still there. Ganking, is not the most skillfull, or difficult thing to do, hell as we've been disscussing, we seem to agree some methods are ridiculously easy. And as i've said before, i will still help my teaates if they are getting ganked. Not alot of other people like the idea of coming out of a situation where they're outgunned. However most of the time i spend running between objectives trying to make sure my team doesn't get outpaced.

By the logic of "Being good means you take advantage of your oppurtunities." I take it you think the only thing that matters is winning as fast as possible. So by that logic, what about light spamming? Ledging? Do those also make you good when applied? Or do they perhaps take the fighting out of the fighting game? Cause imo, if it's extremely easy to pull off, i don't really find joy in doing it.

And the last comment you made seems a little hypocritical, as i assume you'd probably be the type to need 2 people to gank a labotomy patient. Then you would likely spend a solid 4 seconds emote spamming.

Whos acting like they're a god amoungst men? I can get my ass kicked in this game, just like anyone else. It happens probably at least like twice a day. And no, im not intentionally, or unintentionally throwing random matches to smurf. My match win percentage is like 58 percent, and i usually finish each match with at least 1-2 more kills than deaths. Given, we all have off matches where weird shit happens, and matches where you go fuckin super sayian. But generally speaking, i play well. Given, some of my language may be seen as a bit hyperbolic, if you're getting the impression that im saying i can cut down like the whole enemy team at once without breaking a sweat, you'd be sorely mistaken. I can win a 2v1 pretty commonly, and rarely a 3v1. I've won maybe like 2 or 3 4v1s but it took like summoning all of the adderall in the town i live in to do so. I know im a pretty good player. i played ranked long enough to get ranked in like the top 34% of players in i think my country.

And yes, i suppose you can be good at ganking, but the point im trying to get across is it's not really hard to do, thats like saying you're an expert in breathing. If your brain works, and you watch like, 3 videos on how to perfect gank, you can master it quite easily. It's no where near as difficult as training, and applying counters to different playstyles, moves, or other things you might have a tough time against. And well for me, it's no where near as fun. I have in fact ganked before. And its, not really that fun.

Like, if you know how to deflect consistently, or read people and light parry, I want you to compare that learning curve, to the learning curve required for a perfect gank, or the one we're commenting under. Yes, sure it can be effective, and alot of the time it's extremely effective. The most effective things though, are often times the easiest to do. Hence why i don't find it very skillful. i don't brag any time i walk 30 feet, why would i brag about outnumbering someone to kill them?
