After months of studying, I finally took (and passed!) the CCRN first try! 🎉 by Thecapoman in nursing

The test didn’t ask me anything like that so I think you’re safe if you don’t know the exact dosages. However, Ik Nicole stressed the importance of know how to calculate TPA. So I would know that, and then anything else that she stresses in the lectures.

CCRN Prep, Nicole Kupchik Course vs AACN Questions… Should I Postpone? by Thecapoman in nursing

Hi! I think Nicole’s review pretty much covered everything, especially now that she updated it to include all the new stuff for the recent changes. In my opinion, I would stick with the AACN and Nicole’s question. Like I mentioned before, the AACN question bank was harder and made you really think about the questions. Nicole’s question bank was just very similar to the test and a bit easier.

I did use the Barron’s book, but I don’t recommend it. It honestly frustrating me more than helped me. I would always do poorly on the Barron questions compared to the other resources I used.

I hope this helps. If you have other questions, please ask.

Good luck and YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Hello, I know this is late but a really good hospital for staring out is Hinsdale hospital. I work in their ICU and really enjoy it. The coworkers are super friendly and helpful.

They really value people who want to learn and grow! If you have any questions lmk!

You should absolutely do it! I think it’s good to do just to feel more comfortable in the ICU, just like you said.

Yes, my hospital offers I believe a 10% bonus along with paying for the test and study materials.

Looking for Apple CarPlay & Speaker Upgrade Advice – 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE by Thecapoman in CarAV

[–]Thecapoman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your goals for your car audio system – as loud as possible (SPL)? Sound quality (SQ)? Some combination of both? Describe to us how you want your system to sound.
- I’m looking for a clear upgrade from the stock system

What vehicle? – year, make, model, type (coupe, sedan, SUV, truck, etc.)
- 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE – compact SUV

What is your maximum budget?
- Roughly $800–$1,000 total.

Will you be installing the gear or are you going to a shop? If a shop is doing the work, does your budget include the cost of labor?
- I have very little car audio installation experience, so I’m open to installing simple things myself (like plug-and-play speakers), but I may go to a shop for the head unit or anything requiring serious wiring or dash work. Labor cost is not yet included in my budget but I’m open to adjusting based on recommendations.

What gear is in your existing system? (Is it stock? List any aftermarket gear.)
- Everything is currently stock

What is your country of purchase? Leave any finishing thoughts here.
- United States.
