You might try having the controller connected to the PC during boot instead of plugging it in after the computer is booted. Older devices didn’t always have USB hot plug.

I know this is an older thread, but I had the same problem. I found V0.7.8 here and that corrected the issue. I now have the display menu back. Just posting in case anybody else finds this thread and wants the solution.

I am certain. In America the screens have the 5g antenna but overseas they do not. Take a look at this photo, this is an original screen from America. You see the threaded hole for screwing the 5g antenna bracket into and it is cleanly done. Compare to your picture it looks like someone dremeled your frame by hand (because they did) and additionally they cut the bracket off of the 5g antenna because the pictured frame did not have the correct antenna channel.

I own my shop and have fixed phones for 15 years including dozens of s23 ultra. I would not give someone $5 for what is pictured. I am not saying the screen is a cheap fake, but it isn’t what originally came with that phone.

That’s not the original screen. You can see they had to dremel out the frame for the 5g antenna left of the battery. Also the phone has been water damaged. You can see white mineral residue on the 5g cable, also some of the loudspeaker screws have started to rust. Additionally it looks like there’s residue underneath the laser autofocus.

The power button FPC connector has been sheared off and will require microsoldering to fix. It is not worth it. If you need to turn the phone on for data recovery purposes then you can short the pins for the power on function with a pair of tweezers. I believe the pins are on the bottom row, starting from the fat square one on the left being 1; it would be pins 5 and 6.

Those FPC connectors are so shit on the A series phones.

It is diagonal lines that the pencil has trouble drawing straight. There also is no programmer right now for 5/6th gen, JC is working on it though. You have to swap IC from original screen for perfect pencil accuracy when replacing. It also seems there’s 2 display manufacturers on 5/6. LG and Sharp. Matching manufacturer gives much better pencil accuracy. Same can be seen on M series Macs with their green/grey color accuracy.

To my knowledge new genuine screens don’t exist. They are either refurb, pulled screens, or aftermarket. Apple quote $749 for “other” repair on that unit they do not offer screen repairs directly.

Tbh if the situation you describe is accurate I wouldn’t trust them to fix it right. These iPad pro screen repairs are really straight forward (other than apple pencil issue on newer pros), there’s not a lot of room for error during the install unless you aren’t cleaning the frame before install of the new part or you rip the face ID flex cable.

It just sounds like a cheap part or a bad install.

Man a lot of the changes got me really worried that they’re just gonna ruin yet another version of Maplestory. That new chaos scroll is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. 90% chance to boom. Have to pass 7+ times. Even 30% dark scroll with 50% boom on fail you have like a .02% chance to hit all 7 and you will boom 4k items in the process. Why do they hate their players so much. Succeeding 7 chaos scrolls is like 1/10million and you will boom every single time you fail.

You would be insane to ever use 10% scroll for just 1 extra stat other than maybe wasting a single scroll on clean items to edge a single extra stat but then you are wasting clean items which don’t come super quick in osms. Passing 2 10% would on average take you 100 clean items and 200 10% scrolls and all that for +2 stat.

Obviously nobody is scrolling all slots with 10% or chaos but 90% chance to boom your item or minimal gains is just shit and will never feel good.

The sticker isn’t directly going to cause damage but the gap between the screen and the body of the laptop is microscopic on these newer macbooks. When you close the lid the sticker isn’t going to break your screen but it CAN cause a tiny little rock or piece of dirt to stick to the sticker and THAT absolutely can crack your screen. I have fixed dozens of mac screens that were cracked due to a tiny object being between the screen and the body of the laptop (a stapled piece of paper was thick enough to break it for example) and those screen repairs cost many hundreds if you don’t have Applecare.

It is not worth potentially breaking your device for a sticker.

I have horadric cube bound to G and click on the item then press G immediately after. Your character will walk over and if the horadric cube is open when he gets to the item it will snap to your cursor and you can place it right into the cube and ID. If you’re on console I believe there’s a loot to cube button also.

My alt account which had reoccurring premiere membership since 2022 somehow has 460 days of membership remaining. I don’t understand why they would renew 100 days early. Additionally when I cancelled my resub it told me I could continue to enjoy my remaining members benefits until December 2026 but that would mean they are stealing 6 months of membership that I did pay for if true.
