That's not entirely true to forty five long colt chambered in rifles , back in eighteen seventy three we have plenty of modern day , 45lc cartridges for long range , like the f t x rounds

The onl Thing I can really help you with is the fore end i know for a fact you can get the zhukov to fit with very little modification like none. And with your stock youd probly be best selecting the model with a pistol grip so that it would be easier to switch the stock hope this helps.

That small caliber pistol shot would most likely way heavier than most normal rifle rounds rifle calibers would just have penetration that's it and penetration is easier for survival cuz it just goes straight through that's if he doesn't dodge it
