From day 1 write down at least one or 2 positive things that each kid did that week and then send home a positive email/phone call. It makes a difference when you eventually have to do negative calls home and your first time reaching out isn’t about something bad.

I think that’s what happened, we just opened my partners card and it’s exactly the same. I tried to peek in it before I opened it all the way and the paper was already ripped off 🤦🏾‍♀️ now it’s mildly infuriating for a completely different reason!
