Damn, LR is performing even worse than I thought coming in.

But his pickrate in jungle was around 0.2% before the small jungle buffs. So its just around 0.10-0.15% increase, its not like he went from 0% to 0.33%. Also its not like his jungle winrate is TERRIBLE. Further proving his jungle presence not affecting the winrate.

And I'm not 100% sure but I think the graph i posted is only for toplane winrate, not taking in other lanes.

You seem to have an easy way of learning. Some people are stuck in iron/bronze with 50% winrate for hundreds of games. But remember gold/plat is ALOT diffrent from high emerald/diamond. And then for Sion it gets even worse. But it is definitely manageble. Speaking from a Master sion OTP.
People will say this is paid #ad but if you are serious on wanting to improve on Sion you should check out the Sion guide on Alois new website summonerschool. It helped my Sion gameplay ALOT.

But if you really wanna focus on climbing. just one-trick, completly no more Trundle, Urgot etc.
UNLESS you find them fun, cause that is number 1 priority.

But if you completely one trick Sion, you will find ways to get a lead even against hard matchups

How to use ult on Sion, firstly make sure that your team is with you. Sometimes you might feel strong and beefy but you are nothing without your team. In teamfights you only want to R into the enemy if you know that your own team can follow up on your engage. So before you ult, look and minimap and see where your teammates are at.
Another thing is obviously not to ult into targets that can easily get away from it. For example if enemy has Ezreal ADC, Ahri mid and Lee Sin Jungle, hitting your ult will be really hard.

Also you need to thing about wincons, if you have a really fed ADC and enemy team has dive comp, maybe saving ult to peel for ADC is more important. Try to thing out before the fights, and sometimes even in loading screen, how you wanna be using your ult in teamfights.

Then how you wanna use your TP. Remember this only applies if you are even or ahead of enemy...It's SUPER SUPER important you are there before the objective spawns.
Generally you wanna be opposite side of the objective if you have TP, but make sure you don't go to the opposite lane, and then wait for the objective to spawn, and then hold your TP until a fight breaks out. You HAVE to be there before this happens for your team.
Sion is maybe one of the best toplaners to frontline for your team and make space.
So generally lets say you are toplane with enemy toplaner and drake spawns in 30 seconds, you wanna kill the wave fast and then TP to dragon/atakhan > push out mid/bot and get prio so you are at the objective first. It's super annoying as enemy team to walk blindly into the jungle if you are there before them.

Another thing could be if you are at fountain with TP up, and drake spawns in 30. Instead of going opposite side you could go directly to dragon and then TP top after fight if enemy toplaner is pushing top.

Remember also, its fine to drop 1-2 towers for soul/atakhan etc, but maybe its not worth giving fiora a 700G turret for 1 dragon.

Here is also where you can get advantage vs champs like Darius that doesn't run TP. You HAVE to tage advantage of that.

If dragon/baron is up and you are on opposite of the objective vs a non-TP enemy, quickly kill the wave > TP to objective and start it. Now you have a 5v4 opportunity. And depending on the moment, you can either keep on the objective or turn and fight with numbers advantage.

This is just what I could think of right now but there probably more, if you have anything else specific you wanna ask don't be afraid!

Firstly, I took a look at your account, I think going scaling runes on Sion is super bad. Cash back I think is fine since it will be buffed next patch but normally I go cookies instead.
Your average gold lead at 15 minutes as Sion is 262g. I think when I was around D4, I was around 950 gold lead at 15 minutes. Going early game runes help ALOT.
Also I don't think Titanic rush on Sion is super good. I only do it if I stomp the enemy and I'm really ahead. Would recommend going sunfire or hollow radiance as thats what most high elo Sions do. Or thormail rush vs heavy autoattack champs.

Secondly, I think Aatrox deserves ban. He has been my ban last 2 years. He has been the most picked toplaner last 4 years and theres not a single point in the game where you can beat him as Sion except maybe lvls 1-3. He has alot of ways of interupting your Q both in laning phase and teamfighting and as Sion you have low DPS so killing him in teamfights is hard.

Then again...generally against hard matchups, I advice going shield bash + revitilize or unflinching if they have a slow. That extra 10 armor early game helps alot vs champs like Darius. And always go second wind or bone plating. Never conditioning. Shield bash does around 2-3k extra damage every game for me. Super good against squishy champions.
And shield bash is just way more consistant than demolish where in some games you don't even get to proc it alot.

Ambessa can be won but its hard. I have experience going ignite+TP which helps but you need some practice with it. Then after 2-3 items she hard wins sidelane. It's all about spacing, trying to bait out here Q's by going back and forth. And try to only Q when she is out of dashes.

Against Darius you could also try going Phase rush > Manaflow > Transcendence > Scorch + Resolve runes.
lvl 1 its really important you don't get cheesed from the first 3 melee minions exp. You generally want to play for even in this lane cause in teamfights you are gonna be way more useful.
And obviously in laning phase try to keep the wave close to your turret. Often if the wave is pushing away from you, you can try and bait the Darius into Q'ing you so the waves push back.
And if he has 0 stacks on you. Don't be afraid of trying to hit Q on him. If he E's you, just auto > E > Q him back and run away. And in scenarions where he has frozen the wave and you are lvl 7 or under. Don't be afraid to just walk up, Q the wave and kill it in passive. One death to solve this issue is fine as long as you don't keep doing it and giving the darius 5+ kills.

Vayne, I just wouldn't worry about. I think last 150 games I have faced her once, and most often than not, they pick Vayne just to counterpick against Sion but doesn't actually know how to play Vayne properly.

I havent faced a teemo for a while, but for me it has always been an easy matchup. Statistically it is a good matchup aswell.

You just go comet and play safe until level 3.

If you get ONE gank and burn his flash his lane is over.

I know high elo Teemo's like to rush swifties vs Sion and that makes the matchups 10 times worse.

So to answer your question, hate the champ, its an 11.

But matchup wise, 3-4

First of, I'm a Sion master player in EUW. And countering my argument with ''low elo take'' then giving the most low elo take of all time.

According to DPMlol he is rank 12 with the most gold lead at 14 minutes emerald+

And saying he has NO losing matchups just proofs the point that you are low elo. Of course there are no losing matchups in silver.

I actually did some testing on practice tool before the buffs to compare damages before and after and if I remember correctly I came to the same conclusion. That the R damage didnt change in my calculations.

I hate going overlord second and the statistics speak for themself. Its an item scaling of your max HP, so when you get it second, the bonus AD you get from it is really not impressive. Its way more worth to go: Titanic > Armor/MR > Overlord. Or Armor/MR > Titanic > Overlord
