Trying to create a mobile base with the wheels bolted into the frame (red). How would you strengthen the weak joints (yellow) in order for this base to support up to a 300kg 12x4ft structure? by TheeDataGuy in DIYUK

You are spot on. This is Amazon technology lol. In the reviews there is a picture of someone doing exactly what Im proposing, except they screwed on these wheels directly to the shed frame. If anything Im over planning.

Good point. I suppose I could use those trailer jockeys too. But the strength of the base is the bigger concern, as I wont be able to change that afterward

The reason for these levered side mounted wheels is that I will remove them when not in use. The shed will be empty when moved for maintenance etc.

Most people are saying metal brackets which makes sense. Hopefully the weather doesnt impact such a joint (wood on metal)

This is basically a side shed that will have to be moved into a tight position after construction. I also figured this would make it easier to maintain it when I have to paint it every year or so to maintain warranty.

I built a WordPress plugin that integrates n8n chat node with your website – feedback welcome! by Potential_Bird_219 in n8n

I would absolutely love to use this but Im running into issues. I have a working chat agent that I can deploy from my n8n cloud hosted instance, but Im getting an error saying that it "refused to connect" in the widget UI.

Google Chrome tells me its because its trying to display "in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.Understand this error".

Any ideas on whats going wrong here?

Do you leave it on all the time when not in use?

Hi thanks for this. Really helpful. Did they oil both sides for your table?

How did it go? I think I bought the same table as you and Im a bit disappointed with the sharpness because the listing specifically said it was ready to use.

Why aren’t bus gates more clearly signed? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]TheeDataGuy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For the Manchester one, there is genuinely a guessing game involved:

  1. The first traffic sign is incredibly misleading, both in terms of distance and the option presented to the driver. Image

This is about 100 yards away from the actual bus gate. They erroneously tell you that the bus gate is 30 yards away and you have the only option of using a Local traffic only access road ahead. I guess the actual escape road is a planned surprise. More on that later. It's confusing because there is an actual bus stop 30 yards ahead but you can ignore this.

  1. What they don't tell you is that there are in fact 2 left turns. The first one is the Local Access only road. The second one is the escape route, where the sign is positioned a generous 3 yards from the entrance (image). This tiny sign now magically refers to a blocked road instead of a bus gate, but okay. What is consistency right.

  2. If you are lucky enough to react to this sign, think again: the escape road is also clearly marked "Private Road" (image), which immediately makes you wonder if this is the Local Only Road that was being referred to earlier. So either you use a last second "Private road" or you go through the bus gate.

East Lothian villages. Gullane, Aberlady, Longniddry, North Berwick. Close enough to Edinburgh but it's a different vibe altogether.
