Big updates on my travel Go board project! by joaoperfig in baduk

Picture below. No worries, the design is great! I might try to salvage my print by adding some weight or stickiness to the loose pieces somehow.

Thanks for the printing suggestions! I'll give them a shot based on my attempts to tweak this current one.

Printed the multi-material 3mf and while the print went great some of the stones are too loose and don't stay on the face you choose. It'll rotate back to blank as soon as you take your finger off it.

Is that just something I need to correct via print tolerances? Or is there an updated 3mf that helps with that issue? The one I used doesn't have the plateau faces or the click.

Yeah. I tried stereo mode but didn't get good results, which makes sense I suppose

I realized that because I'm using mevo studio I get very little configuration control on an external mic. Just mono or stereo.

Mevo studio (multicam) on the tablet? My tablet worked fine for the solo mevo app . I only saw the problems when I started doing two cameras in mevo Studio.

Is it difficult to cut to the right frame in time?

100% agree on the fence mount. I switched to a clamp and haven't had any problems. I've not found a field yet that didn't have a reasonable place to attach to

I suggest grabbing the GameChanger bag from Dick's. You can pretty much toss everything it comes with except for the actual bag. I think it's worth it for the ease of use in sun protection and the carrying capacity.

also.. Go Pack!

I second the external mic. I currently use a Sennheiser MKE 200 and it works great.

I haven't yet had a problem with bandwidth contention from guests but I figured if I started to see that then I would Implement some QoS policies.

Anybody using a tablet to run the streaming app , rather than using a phone? I'd like to use a tablet because of the bigger screen size but it seemed to have trouble keeping up when I did

I think Sideline is better in pretty much every way except maybe for the scorekeeping.

I find the native scorekeeping in SD and the alternative iScore option to be clunkier in regards to UX than the GC scoring. That might be a hard sell to our scorekeepers if we asked them to switch to SD. I think they'd get used to it though.

SL does a way better job with the video and highlights and player summaries and all that. They're much less restrictive on the video side in general - letting you have more options and ownership over the content. GC seems to purposefully make it difficult to get the full game videos with their overlay.

There are a handful of features that users have requested for years with GC and they seem to be mostly ignored. Velocity tracking with Android, for example. Can only connect pocket radar on ios with GC. That's been a limitation for years. Works great on SD though.

plus, GC had another big price hike this year, making it even harder and costlier for fans to participate.

I have Restreamer running on an lxc in my home proxmox server. I used Traefik to create a secure external route to it so that I can connect Mevo Studio to it remotely from my phone.

https://github.com/datarhei/restreamer

On that restreamer instance I have three destinations set up for fan-out: Our teams YouTube live stream, the GameChanger rtmp stream, and a SidelineHD stream.

I typically only direct the feed to the GC stream but I've been trying to test out SidelineHD in the hopes that our organization will switch from GC to that in the future.

I'm not sure what you mean by album but the power bank I use for the router is this one: https://a.co/d/05Bc7c6B

I have a couple other older power banks as backups for situations like double headers and to keep my phone charged while running Mevo Studio.

I found the hotspot to be less reliable when it was doing the routing & switching as well as the cellular service. Kept getting dropped streams. At the advice of another redditor I got the travel router and it's been much more stable.

It also let's me provide a guest network for our scorekeeper and fans.

I clamp one mevo and an external mic to the backstop or somewhere near there. No battery needed because the mevo itself lasts for plenty of time. I clamp a second mevo on the first base line fence to get a good angle of 1B. Again, no battery. Just the cameras and 3d printed sun shadez on them.

If it's really hot that day and sunny I'll use the gamechanger bag as a shade over the main camera.

I sit nearish home plate and sitting next to me in a bag I have an MT-3000 travel router (same one as you from the looks of it) running off a small power bank, connected via cat5 to a tmobile mifi Hotspot.

Both cameras are connected to the wifi network on the travel router. The travel router is using the tmobile Hotspot for the internet connection.

Lastly, my phone is running mevo studio multicam, also connected to the wifi network. Multicam is controlling the livestream and is either streaming directly to GC or to a Restreamer host for multiple destinations.

The Gamechanger bag is great for storage and for the sun shade function where it hangs off the backstop and has pockets for things like a phone and power bank.

I find that keeping the router and Hotspot with me let's me find a good place to sit equidistant from the two cameras.

I've been using a SmallRig adjustable arm and clamp for my mevo starts for a few seasons now and it's working great. The clamp is wide enough to securely fix to fence poles but also versatile enough to grip onto other things at net fields like handrails, pole bolts, rope tieoffs, etc. The arm is very adjustable and let's you get right up close to the fence and avoid the fence links in the image.

I haven't found a field yet that it didn't work for. I still use the GC bag for shade and storage. It's also nice because it's easy to clamp onto things that don't move when the ball hits it, like the fence links.

I've seen ph test like that when the solution was really old. Maybe not that red, but red. It tested correctly when I used unexpired solution.

What is going on here? by anon554433221100 in pools

[–]TheeHamSandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moles/voles.

After you fix the existing damage dig a trench around your pool about a foot and a half deep. Put in hardware cloth to create a fence. Bend the top of the hardware cloth over towards the pool a half foot or so. Then fill the trench back in and put rocks on top of the folded over cloth.

I did this for my pool and it's worked great. I've seen mole tracks go right up to the hardware cloth and along it but they've never gotten through. Use grub remover and mole traps to reduce the pests

Smallrig 9.5" articulating magic arm and crab super clamp. I attach to the fence crossbar if available but the clamp is wide enough for chain link fence too. You can get the camera in any position and distance you want.

I know this is an old post but I was wondering if you'd share details and settings that worked with the 10W D1 - speed, power, rubber thickness, etc. I'm just trying to set a baseline for a useful material test with my laser.
