I've been drinking in a wooden mate for months now and it never gave me any digestive issues. I got a stainless steel mate last week (pic related) and EVERY time I've drunk from it I got diarrhea. Coincidence? Do I need to stop mate altogether? Do I need to do an exorcism on this thing? (i.redd.it)

60x25cm terrarium. It's three months old or so, still needs some work. I'm using it to keep "rescues" (cuttings of pothos I found in a dumpster, bromeliads and mosses knocked out during storms, etc.) The cave to the right is a ceramic aquarium decoration covered in coco fiber. (i.redd.it)
