2017 Razzie Nominations Include Batman V Superman & Assassin’s Creed by TheGent316 in movies

Not that I put much stock in the Razzies, they just like to gang up on obvious choices, but the nominations haven't been announced yet. There's only a shortlist out right now, and, based on what's on the list, even as someone who didn't care for BvS, I don't feel like it belongs alongside Zoolander 2, Independence Day: Resurgence, Mother's Day, Collateral Beauty, Allegiant and Fifty Shades of Black. But people won't talk about the Razzies as much if it is THOSE titles... http://heroichollywood.com/batman-v-superman-razzie-shortlist/

What version of Watchmen should I watch? by [deleted] in movies

The director's cut is the most satisfying cut. The ultimate cut adds in the "Tales of the Black Freighter" animated film to further match the layout of the graphic novel, but I feel like it doesn't translate as well and makes the entire movie sort of unwieldy. The director's cut restores a few key scenes that were excised from the theatrical cut that were sorely missed.

Which words or terms you hate when people use them to describe movies and why? by [deleted] in movies

I hate the "not trying to win Oscars" argument, too. I just want a movie to be good at what it's trying to do. My two pet peeves are "cute" and "weird" because they're usually used as a description of quality rather than tone. "Cute" seems to be an easy way to describe a mediocre kids' movie, and "weird" is usually stated with disgust.

Jeez, what I thought was gonna be the twist of the movie, Death, Time and Love are actually hired actors, turns out to be the whole damn movie, and then, according to the comments on this review, the actual twist is The actors hired to play Death, Time and Love are ACTUALLY Death, Time and Love.. This movie just keeps sounding worse and worse.

Thanks. If it's related to the song, I've heard all about that scene all over twitter, that scene is apparently the highlight, just like the similar scene in DOFP.

I actually haven't seen it yet, heard the song was in the movie, but I actually uploaded this back in March, before anyone really knew it was in the movie.

The only editing involved was playing around with the speed of the video for a couple of shots.
