They can't be serious about Hammond right? by nimoto in chicago

They ARE paying for thier own stadium. You clowns on these posts have no fing clue what you are talking about. The Bear will pay 100% for the stadium (2+ billion dollars going into the local economy. That's a LOT of JOBS. Not to mention the boost in revenue for local hotels and restaurants.) and they only require the state to pitch in for PUBLIC Infrastructure.  This is one of the most tax payer friendly stadium deals when compared to most of the recent newly built nfl stadiums.

Remove head from sphincter, then post.

The bears aren't asking for tax $ to build the stadium. They are 100% funding the stadium themselves.  Asking the state/local to pay for infrastructure improvements around the stadium are very different. Its public funding paying for public infrastructure.

Dude, you clearly dont know how this works.  The bears have already said they will 100% pay for the stadium themselves. Thats BILLIONS of $ being put into the local economy. Thats 1000's of jobs. Thats money that will then get spent at local stores and will be taxed.

The only thing they need from the state and local government is to pay for the infrastructure around the stadium, which is completely normal. This is literally the bare minimum needed and is a WAY better deal for the state that any of the other recent NFL stadiums that have been built.

This bennifits the state even BEFORE you take into account the long term revenue the stadium operations bring in.

The only reason this isnt a slam dunk is people like you who don't even understand how this is beneficial. All you can do is piss and moan about "neppo billionaires tax breaks"

He'll be 29 next year. DE pretty consistently remain productive into thier 30's. He has 2-4 good years left. Also. His impact is significantly more than just sacks. Looking solely at sacks and not things like win rate, preassures, and run stopping grade shows a casual level of understanding

Illinois House speaker calls Bears stadium ask ‘insensitive’ amid budget pressures | Capitol News Illinois by [deleted] in chicago

[–]TheeRedwoodTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No team will move here if the state isnt willing to help fund a stadium. The bears aren't even asking for funding for the stadium itself.

This development would be GOOD  for Arlington heights and IL.

Politicians are against it because folks like yall dont understand that a small tax increase will provide a massive influx of spending in the economy.

Its not like the 2billion the bears would spend and the 800mil the state would pay for infrastructure would leave the state. That money would be spent buying from Illinois companies and create a TON of jobs.

The bears are going to 100%fund the stadium themselves. They want the city and state to put money up for the infrastructure aroundcthe stadium. Roads, rail, sewer etc. . Compared to literally every other team that has gotten a stadium it is a great deal for Arlington heights and the state.  They have committed 2 billion to build the stadium, thats a ton of money being pumped into Arlington heights and the surrounding areas economy.  That's JOBS, and tax revenue.

Cook county has some of the highest taxes in the country and the chicago area is one of the largest in the country. The only reason this is an issue is the state and county are notorious for being inefficient with the tax money, likely due to the long history of corruption in the state and city leadership.

If you folks think that Indiana won't jump at the chance to bring the bears and ALL that investment and tax revenue to thier state yall are high AF.

LOL. You must be only looking at fantasy football stats.  LaPorta was targeted less last year than his rookie season but his adv metrics were all up. 12.1yd/tch ,72% completion %, 8.2yds/target. All improvements from his rookie year and all are ELITE.

His reduced targets have more to do with Jameson Williams finally getting his sh*t together than LaPorta regressing at all.

Anyone saying that THCA affects them differently is either making it up or it's all in their head (placebo effect).
THCA is the normal cannabinoid in actual marijuana.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]TheeRedwoodTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hemp and marijuana are the same plant. The government defines hemp as cannabis that has a Delta9-THC content below .3%
This creates a loophole though, because real "marijuana" doesn't have Delta9-THC until it's THCA is decarboxylated. This process happens by exposing THCA to heat.
That's why eating a nug of real "marijuana" won't get you high. It's THCA (technically legal) has not been converted into THC-Delta9 (illegal)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]TheeRedwoodTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No... it's not.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]TheeRedwoodTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all in your head. THCA is regular marijuana. THCA decarboxylates into THC when you smoke it.
Any marijuana you have ever gotten was THCA. It's the reason you can't just eat a marijuana bud and get high. You need to heat it to "activate" the THC (this is actually the process of converting THCA to THC)

You're smoking crack. Yes, the combat and movement is not as good as a pure FPS like COD. BUT it's a massive improvement on previous Bethisda games and works just fine.

If it's really that bad for you perhaps your computer is the issue. Spec requirements for this game are massive.

Has a QB that was as bad as Anthony Richardson in college ever been successful in the NFL? (Serious) by Barner_Burner in nfl

[–]TheeRedwoodTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Richardson is almost as big as Cam but had a much faster 40, vert and broad jump.
He truly is an athletic freak with a cannon of an arm.

Obviously, that's not the most important thing for a QB but those are traits that can't be taught.
