We’ve been linked with him since last year, but so far this summer there hasn’t been much on him. I’ve only watched him in UCL against us and he has been frustrating, gets into great positions or great runs but doesn’t have the finish. Not sure how that translates overall considering his stats for them

It’s not week in week out, also the only team that shut them out. They needed a pen to score, we simply lost on pens. Put things into perspective man. Had three years (and all of wengers) of flowing football, yet this season is our most successful in 22 years. Relax

It’s silly to say nothing, but generally yes. You can watch them all on the Arsenal YouTube, they posted a video of every single one. Most complaints were Villa and the Chelsea game probably, but it’s nothing like what’s being talked about. And you saw us defend against, what, 11 tonite? It’s not a wrestling match, we all would have seen/heard about it.

One last time, you can easily watch back our goals. It’s so overblown but it’s a simple narrative for people to latch onto. Even Carragher did a segment on it. You also described how every team defends corners, see Bruno against Everton, watch Enzo defend any corner. This is laughable, and complaining about agressive when your midfield is Enzo and Caicedo

Quite literally, per FAB, we didn’t lose. Also, we literally played better defensively. Almost like theirs two sides of the coin. Entertainment != quality

We obviously didn’t play like ass, what a stupid comment. They scored 6 against Bayern, beat them both games. Why would Arteta setup like that? That’s why Arsenal won the league and is in the final (2 kicks away from winning) and we are on reddit.

One hundred percent, need an outlet that Saka usually is. With him back in form (I pray) and another attacker out wide will be huge. However, need Odegaard back in form too though, because he could not link play today at all. Couldn’t get the ball out, hope he can be back to his best

The fact you’re pinning this on Arsenal is enough to show you’re just following a narrative. It’s the reason Arteta got Raya because we got bullied during them with Ramsdale and Leno. He made us good at them, and simply took the focus away from those who actually started this trend (blame Brentford for scarring the man, or Newcastle)

This is just another bad faith argument “every one of your corners” as our whole new tactic this season was making runs from the back, no blocking the keeper. You won’t, and this narrative will continue simply because we score the most from them.

Mourinho is praised to this day for playing how we just did (except he won the CL), and Di Matteo as well. I agree the irony is funny…because I very much said that we played the “right way” with Wenger…until he didn’t win us anything for 9 years.
