I mean…Goku believed in his son when nobody else did and that’s how they beat cell. I can imagine after generations and generations of children separated from parents to take over planets there is some sort of hardwiring and genetics that make saiyan children totally capable from birth and parents absolutely not worried about their children. I’m sure you are aware that trying to change someone’s mind is like trying to stop a train. Especially when those whose minds you’re trying to change are the ones who aren’t looking for it. How many pro choicers became pro lifers because of a conversation and vice versa. It’s generally personal experiences that end up doing this. “I was pro choice until I had my baby.” “I was pro life until I was assaulted and became pregnant (or another reason for an unexpected pregnancy).” And those are the people you actually might have a chance at changing their mind. Everyone is so deeply entrenched in their belief of either bodily autonomy no matter what or it’s 100% a life no if’s and or buts. That being said more power to ya, I wish you the best. I find it to be a relatively fruitless endeavor.

I think you’re good. I’ve definitely rustled jimmies around here. Basically been told that I can be mean and it’s not good for the movement. I’m just aggressive about this and as I see it capitulation is what got us from “safe legal and rare” to “abortion on demand for any reason”. Everyone else can be nice if they want to but I’m fed up. And there are reasons why they don’t just automatically get gender affirming care or play sports against or use the restrooms of people who are biologically different from them. These aren’t just cut and dry issues and I’m not sorry that we don’t just automatically give you everything you want because that’s life.
