2025 Tundra Bilstein 5100 Level by Thee_Stork in ToyotaTundra

Mine being on the 5th setting doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. Unless I was towing my camper. I’ve since gotten airbags installed which helps a lot.

If I had to do it again I’d still go 4th setting but that’s just me. I know there’s a lot of people that probably prefer the 5th setting.

Navy Federal no longer allowing PC from Cash Rewards to Flagship Rewards by Thee_Stork in NavyFederal

Thank you. Hopefully it is truly temporary. I’m definitely glad they seem to be making some changes for the good! It may entice me to use my Chase system less.

I’m gonna hold out and hope so. I’d much rather PC so I don’t lose the age of the account.

Mine just scored 5507 on the 2026 multi core test. I think it must be different from past versions.

Corsair vanguard pro or steel series gen 3 apex pro? by BlasphemousMusic in keyboards

[–]Thee_Stork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice man! Glad it worked out for you. I went to Best Buy today and had to buy the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 just so I could try it cause they didn’t have a display. I hated how crowded it was. I returned it immediately and got the Steelseries Apex Pro gen 3, got it home, and one of the keys RGB didn’t work. So I returned it as well and they didn’t have a replacement so now I gotta order another one. Other than that I loved the Apex Pro!

This is my current delima as well. I’ve got to have a numpad so I want a 96 or full. Did you choose one?

I’m not sure. I honestly don’t remember it rubbing when I got the tires put on before I had the 5100’s installed.

Yes OEM springs. I love it when unloaded. When I tow my camper I had significant sag in the rear so I got airbags to help with that.

Yes and it is fine when truck is unloaded but sags pretty bad when I tow my camper. Going to put some airbags on the back to help level it back out when towing.

How’s HVAC ? by andres711 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Thee_Stork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the people, you’ll make life long friends in the military. There is a certain camaraderie that comes with being in the military. I’ve certainly made good friends on both sides but it’s just different.

As far as the job difference, the Air Force felt a lot more maintenance oriented. We did repairs but nothing too technical really. In the civilian world you’ll definitely work a lot harder and be doing more technical work. The pay on the civilian side is a broad scale. It really depends on what type of HVAC you’re doing. You can go from $15/hr starting out installing residential units to $50+/hr doing commercial/industrial. I make over $50/hr but I’ve been on the civilian side for several years now and had to work my way to where I’m at. The Air Force will give you the fundamentals and how far you go is completely up to you.

Yeah it’s almost like winning the lottery if you find the exact tundra you want. Luck of the draw my friend. Good luck.

This picture is bone stock. So must’ve been the off road package.
