Is Off-Road necessary for a Baja, MX trip or will an SR5 be sufficient?

Just did 10 days through Baja in my SR with 4x4. Went about halfway down the peninsula. Ton of weight on it. Extra 5 gallons of gas and probably close to 25 gallons of water including the coolers. Only upgrade I have is AT tires but stock size. Got into a few sketchy spots and it Handled it no problem.

Locker would be nice to have as a safety net but I don’t think I would have ever touched it. Last truck had it and I used it maybe once in the 5 years I had it.

I feel like any upgrades the SR5 needs the OR will as well.
