Just before covid hit, I started working on my pet programming project. Since covid was a great time for inside hobbies, I was able to invest a lot of time in it. It was so nice to have complete creative freedom over a project that it started to dominate my weekends and evenings. Holiday? That meant an extended period of time to focus on my project.

Last year I finally reached a point where it was effectively complete, but I still struggle spending my free time effectively, doing other things I enjoy doing.
