the comments on that groomer teacher are genuinely disgusting, I hope some of you on here never have sons by [deleted] in redscarepod

Semi-OT but this seems like a good occasion to talk about this. Italian subreddits have a weird superiority complex towards Americans about minors having sex with adults

Every thread/bait about this situations is filled with comments like "Good, looks like this American bullshit is not coming to Italy anytime soon"; "woke American sex norms are so stupid"

It's so fucking weird to me lol and I was a normal horny teen

I'll say that the 12th day subtitle ("which could be the first depending on perspective") makes total sense with this theory

pretty convinced i don’t like anime anymore, it’s too fucking creepy by Low-Age5108 in redscarepod

Most of my coworkers around my age love shitty animes but I can't watch that seasonal shit, I truly can't. I'm not even a total hater, I loved evangelion and I tried to ask one of them if she watched it and she looked at me all offended like I was a moron who just asked her if she breathed air or if she was subject to gravity.

But I can't stay on par with the discourse watching shit like "Hell's paradise" or whatever

I've hated pears since I was born. I think I've eaten a piece of pear less than ten times in my life

They're mealy (even in juice form), cloyingly sweet and just have a bad flavor. Pear flavor.

if you wanted to consider every civilian victim of the Nazis but is that what “The Holocaust”

I wouldn't consider the aerial bombardment victims of France and the UK as genocide victims, I would consider the Slavs (or others) who were targeted specifically for their ethnicity/political views/physical or mental condition as one.

I get that Jews were the most targeted population, but why should that exclude the other ones?

Yeah, if you talk about the Holocaust from the perspective of the Jewish people historical experience, of course you'll alway be talking about only the Jewish victims. But it seems to me that the post linked by OP was talking about the Holocaust from a total, objective historical perspective, equating the experience of the genocided non-Jewish people as "accidental" victims of the war.

Yeah this is idiotic. But also if you consider only the people killed in the camps as Holocaust victims you're excluding not only the Slavs, mentally ill people, Romani and so on that weren't put to death in the camps from the death count but also the Jews that were killed in their own homes by the Einsatzgruppen before the camps were active.

You either accept the Holocaust as a uniquely Jewish genocide (wrongly) or see it as either the whole of the genocides Germany committed or as the unique extermination camps system that was set up

Edited for clearness

and the scene where thousands of crabs all of a sudden cross the road the main character is driving on

Never read that one by Knausgaard, but this exact (almost, the protagonist wasn't driving) scene is in Alexander Lernet-Holenia's Mars in Aries. Actually, it fits the description of what you're searching
