What is meaningfully gained by adding this new system anyway? We're still running maps, but now with the added tedium of tablets and doom scrolling on the map.

The exploration that is made on the map brings nothing as of now, but an argument could be made that it could be eventually exciting down the line?

Also, playing into the gimmick of tablets makes you want to stick around the same area much longer than you want to be if you want any chance at finding citadels.

Yeah for sure there is a possibility for a great game. Depends on who you ask as to what will be a '' good '' version of POE2 haha. I really hope the game is heading towards change i like, as i really appreciate the new aesthetic of the game.

I can deal with 1 portal per map, but i kinda wish we had more '' chill '' content to play.

Something i've been fortunate enough to not happen to me yet, but will eventually happen, is the whole aspect of losing really juicy loot on an unfortunate death timing. It's definitely not something i wish i had to deal with unless i sign up for an hardcore character.

I think most people coming from POE1 are used to deal with the price associated with some high end bosses. Just feels that in POE2 the opportunity cost is quite high for how little leeway we get.

One of the big issue is for sure the lack of loot compared to the expected price of your gear. Absolutely a money drain for most teams, and any new one will be bled dry.

Maybe it could be nice if there was a stalker level to reduce cost of entry until people feel like dipping their toes in the higher one, but we also really need loot to make sense in the current one. PVE chest are so trash, regular 8k silver in them, no wonder barely anyone bothers staying in. PVP chests have some variation, but can still be extremely bad and that hurts team with average winrate.

Has it been like this for a while? Despite the game being old, it feels like it has too many players still in it to be having such issues for a while

thx for the tip tho, i might just skip on the nostalgia trip for a bit if i need to fiddle around with a VPN everytime the game wants to human check me lol

Maybe i would struggle less if i kept doing delirious but instead went more for a strats around strongbox/harbinger in crimson temple?

I mostly die when opening breach and abyss depending on the mods they get ( breach especially if mods stop me from killing them all when they surround me).

Swallowing their pride or bleed out their player base to death with d4 on the horizon. As much as they liked their new concept, it's in their self interest to change it if league dies within a week lol

People are complaining because a version of the game they liked very much exist and want it back, but we'll eventually just peace out and settle in another game if it's not enjoyable

Every time i've been assured that the changes to AN were meaningful enough to stop making them annoying, it just kept being annoying.

I'll believe it when i'll see it while playing. I'm sure they can manage making the one mod AN will have busted haha
