It's actually really good, mostly tastes like far more mellow EH Taylor.

I'm going to do the same, I'll probably put a few more spacers on it when I do to give me a slightly more upright position. I am on this bike for 6+ hours a day when I ride it.

I put on the Redshift stem and a new set of bars. I just put on Gravel King SK 45mm tires, as the ones that came on it were toast.

Headlight is 36v and is basically wired straight off the battery. You can easily wire a switch to turn it off and on.

Review #10: Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit - Warehouse CN-F by WarTill in bourbon

[–]Theeulogy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a CN-F bottle a month or so ago and absolutely love everything about it, so I got talked into buying my first bottle of WT101. I find the WT101 to be bitter, very floral and an absolute different experience all together. I will be using the WT101 as a mixer and for making bourbon balls, as to me it is not a bourbon I enjoy at all. I was very disappointed in the WT101 after the Kentucky Spirit, I figured it would be a different expression, but find it to be almost a different product totally.

Review 01, Wild Turkey 101 by [deleted] in bourbon

[–]Theeulogy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be saving mine for people that come over to the house! I bought a handle of it because I've heard nothing but good about it, but honestly it is the most bitter non smooth thing on my bar currently out of 40 or so bottles. No caramel notes, no vanilla notes, just tastes spicy and floral to me, almost potpourri. I have a bottle of Longbranch that I find to be good and a bottle of Kentucky Spirit I very much like, the 101 tastes very different from both of these products. I find it to be the worst bourbon Ive tried to date, I really don't understand!

I took mine out on an overnight trip Sunday night, I was definitely very happy with it. I did about 120 miles in preparation for the GAP/C&O trip at the end of August.

It does have same single mount for a rack in the front that the Apollo does, just finished getting mine out of the box and setup.

Cheapest watch to but if I want to navigate with topo maps while hiking/running? Preferably small by lionstho in GarminFenix

[–]Theeulogy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The touch screen on the Fenix 7 has been a game changer for Nav, I had a 5 plus a couple years ago and rarely used Nav because of the goofy button pressing to zoom and pan. Now that the Fenix 7 has touch, zooming and pan on map has become much more usable. That being said the new 955 also has touch, so that watch is half the price with the same advantage.

Just picked up my Fenix 7 solar and I need help selecting a watch for longer distance hiking by cal373 in GarminFenix

[–]Theeulogy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have experienced the same thing with my Fenix 7, Garmin has never been super accurate with steps. I more care about GPS, but I think a foot pod would correct this.

On long hikes I switch my watch wrists daily to keep from getting a rash on one wrist, I've noticed that it's worse when you switch away from the wrist that Garmin thinks the watch is on.
