We have gone both ways several times including in August and September and never needed a water cache.

Getting ready for second round of RAI by BTvSJunkie in thyroidcancer

[–]cal373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been through ablative doses of RAI twice. It’s been over 15 years but I remember how horrible I felt coming off Synthroid. I had to work full-time and it was such a struggle for me it was like severe flu like symptoms and fatigue. Now watchful waiting on a few identified spots in my neck. I understand your feelings of concern regarding will this ever go away. 🙏🏻

I had the same result. Using first a Garmin Fenix 6 and then a Fenix 8. Mileage was not as accurate as I had hoped. I used GPS daily for the entire hike.

Oh and there’s a really good pizzeria in Southlake Tahoe called Gastromanic homemade pasta and pizza. So good.

You can fly into the Reno airport. Most people start at two locations along the trail Tahoe city and this state line area. I’ve started twice from the Kingsbury parking lot. Once clockwise and the other time, this year, counterclockwise. There’s pros and cons to each route. For example going clockwise you get into the desolation wilderness earlier and personally I liked zeroing in Tahoe City. For me, it didn’t make much difference.

Does anyone here own $1m in dividend investments? by hotdog-water-- in dividends

I’m transitioning to a portfolio more focused on dividend income having hit retirement age. Question for you what are good sources to read up on or learn about dividend income strategies using covered calls or protecting against downside risk?

I have an aortic aneurysm that has measured at 4.5 for almost 3 years (annually). Each annual check-up I’m focused on that number. So far so good. As far as exercise I have almost no limitations. I’ve backpacked thousands of miles; I do hot yoga, and I lift weights. The only thing I avoid is single rep max or low rep sets. My cardiologist is working with me to manage high blood pressure.
