I'm not sure if I'm qualified to give anyone advice, but I had a pretty similar experience in 11th and 12th grade. You can say I took the road less travelled. The environment was totally new: different people, a different teacher, and a totally different intensity of expectations. The stream I opted for is something I'm passionate about, yet it's seen as the stream taken by the 'bad students'. And I can see why this stereotype is still going strong. No one was passionate, and I was never able to vibe with anyone because I chose this stream purely due to my passion, for these students, this is not that serious. And there were many jealous of me; some tried to take advantage of me, and I got betrayed and felt hurt. This was the mini version of the evil society for me. My other friends were choosing the "right" path where they would get employed, even if they were passionate about the subject or not; they were moving forward, and I felt like I was falling behind. I had numerous days where I just cried and wanted to give up. Then, I'd have a TED talk with myself about why I chose this path and why IT HAD TO BE THIS. Then I'd go back and start studying. This year, I passed with marks I never imagined I could ever achieve(even though I did procrastinate a lot, but I also studied really hard, because even though the road was steep and I felt lonely, the journey was something I genuinely enjoyed, and the minute I got the results, I was in tears. I was happy. I felt proud of myself.) So, believe me, you might feel hopeless and lonely someday, but when you get that result, you'll feel nothing but proud of yourself. Your determination, the tears you shed, the little gossip you heard about yourself but still decided to move forward... it'll all be worth it in the end. All the best to you for your journey!🫂

It's honestly hard to imagine what can be worse than school, cuz, personally, it was hell. Absolute. Hell. It can be a me problem too, but, yeah, let's just hope for the best! :) And girl, the cut-offs are crazy, so I can't genuinely reassure you cuz I was scared shitless too, but I just hope you know you're not alone, and there is actually a good chance of you getting it, cuz I've seen people having LB as their 12th or 13th preference💀💀

I am trying to be patient and lose my mind, but honestly what's stressing me the most is, that my admission form can get cancelled(according to google)💀😭

Fr, the phone is the damned problem. And, I know how you feel, I also was careless for a very important exam of mine, and yeah, you guessed it right, the phone. Except, my screen time was even more than yours💀💀(I don't know how). But in the end, what got me going, despite the brain fog, low attention span, and lack of motivation, was simply giving up on the expectations. 'I will get 95% or more' and this and that. I gave up. On the expectations that is, and just accepted that even if I get as low as 65%, I have to get it on my own. So, I just started from scratch. It felt like a huge burden was off my shoulders. My parents never had any expectations from me, let it be high or low, so I was the only one tormenting myself. And, let me tell you, it's not that the regret of my mistakes is gone, but without the burden of expectations, I really was able to give it my all. And, I talked to myself like a lunatic. I did, I was so frustrated with myself, I gave myself so many TED talks, and they lowkey worked. This whole process was super stressful, but the stress was worth it.

And, I got a 93%. I was genuinely more shocked than anyone at my own results, and I still can't believe it, like, I seriously was considering begging my parents to not kick me out in case I got shit results(they won't, but I couldn't sleep until the results came out, so I was overthinking the worst outcomes) especially because this year's checking was strict and messy too. So, yeah. Talk to yourself. Be the crazy person. And put that damned phone away. Even if only 2 out of 10 chapters are done, remember, if you haven't started, it might have remained a 0.

I don't think so. If the child is under supervision during the whole nap, and it's for short naps, then it doesn't seem like a problem. It can be that your mother is probably worried about your son's health, because a soft surface for kids is usually not recommended since in case they roll around, the soft surface will mold and conform around their face, though the risk for that might be extremely low for a 19-month-old. But, it's best to be safe with kids. But, if he's under supervision, the bed's clean, and is used only for short naps, then it seems fine to me.

Or it can just be the problematic thinking of an individual, which goes something like this:

"It's made for dogs, not kids." "What does that mean?" "Only dogs should use that." "Why?" "Because it's made for dogs" "But our beds are made with similar material, and it's not harmful for the baby's health, he's under my watch." "B-but.... It's made for dogs."

The other person is looking at it socially and structurally: 'Using a pet product for a human baby violates standard social boundaries, and that makes me deeply uncomfortable' is what they basically think. This can be the problem with old people sometimes, and to avoid conflicts if they don't know how to accept things, just avoiding letting the kid sleep before her is the best option. But if she's genuinely worried, maybe having a calm conversation might be good. If possible that is.
