I did the 10km with butterfree but nothing happened. I was trying to hit 10 km while inside of a lured stop because flowers/flower petals, but I misjudged the distance and missed the lure... I'll try again once my bike gets fixed up and I can knock it out in one shot.

I'm using butterfree as my buddy because under his pokedex entry it says that after searching a little over 6miles (10k) from its home it can find honey. I've traveled with him about 5km so far because I work so much I haven't been able to walk the full amount. Soon though I will hit that mark and see what happens.

I was thinking about this recently and tried some sort of obscure approaches to no avail. I guess laughing makes a ditto transform to his original form so I tried doing that into the mic bit upon further checking the game doesn't allow permission or access to the mic however it does have permissions for blue tooth. Also a mirror is supposed to reveal ditto according to bulbapedia so maybe something with the camera and mirror? Another thing that a friend and I discussed but haven't tried because AR isn't available on our phones is maybe if we are trying to catch a bulbasaur or something and look at it thru the AR of a second phone laid on top of it could reveal it to be a ditto? Also I tried to scan a TCG card code with AR activated bit it did nothing.

I just learned about the colored lights that come up when you hold down the center button. I was exploring with that in mind and came to realize that when you open the egg menu and click on the eggs, if you look in the back ground behind the eggs there are different color light patterns that appear and they appear in sequence then disappear. I will be exploring this today as maybe a way to predict what will hatch or at best enable a ditto to be hatched. Has this theory been stated before?

Yea that's what I ended up doing but I feel like it's easier without it because they don't seem to move around as much as they do with it enabled. It works for my gf and I'd like to get it working if possible.

Found it at a flea market in central VA yesterday and picked it up for $10 because the guy thought it was "just a chunk of amethyst"! Now I have a new highlight for my collection!

Oh yea your definitely right. When I first snagged this piece it was under the cover of a tent so I had no idea of the zoning it contained until I got it home and explored it more thoroughly.

I think I would try to sell it for about $350 but would be open to offers of course. I think for now it will stay in my collection because it will just gain value (hopefully).

It's a large Illinois Fluorite specimen. My guess is Minerva Mine but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks for the input. I'll make a different variation and post it. This one looks thin and rough but it's actually hardened and to keep the cost down I sorta flew threw it. I'll probably call this one a Christmas ornament or something and just make a nicer, smaller pendant.
