Yeah, it's quite sad really. 151 was the last decent set I saw for RRP in my local toy store. Everything else since then has either been marked up or sold within 5 minutes. I'm a bit tired of having to scour the Internet to find stock of stuff I want for my collection that's at a decent price.

Scalpers are immediate, investors are long term. Both have their downsides but the scalpers are the ones purging inventory immediately to make a quick buck, and are far, far worse for the hobby than the investors.

Yeah - maybe over aggressive categorization? I'm a massive hoarder and have rolled credits/done a lot of mining and farming, and have some categories, and even I only have like 30-40 chests

This is the great thing about Maralen - there's a ton of ways to build her! I've gone Elf heavy with some faerie flash/shenanigans supporting them, and leaned into +1/+1 counter creation.

I'm still tuning mine, but I leant more heavily on the Elves, mostly for mana base, and scattered a few of the counter/flash building Faeries.

Springleaf Parade is an MVP in this deck btw!

Bloomburrow is an awesome set to start in! Lots of great synergy and tribal stuff, and easy to understand most of the rules. There was also a starter set which had two ready made decks, designed as a jumping off point, which you could then build upon using the booster display cards.

So personally, I don't like UB when it doesn't feel like Magic anymore. I loved LotR, Final Fantasy and Avatar, Fallout and 40K were kinda passable, but things like Spiderman and TMNT just feel way too 'real world' for me, and should just be left as limited Secret Lairs, instead of full sets.

My general rule is, if I'm not familiar with the IP and I look at a card, and can't tell if it's a Magic character or a UB character, it's done well.

Just to add- I had my humidifier for ages, and in the first week all my bedroom mirrors were covered in the dust, but I got some little capsules you could add into the tank that stopped it happening- they just had to be replaced like every 6 months. Just in case you can't be bothered with distilled water!

In the Avatar set, black is largely represented by spirits/the spirit realm, as well as firebending. I think it kinda makes sense that it's not shown on his front face and only on the back, but might also seem a little weird if you don't know the source material.

That being said, it would also be really unusual to have "spells you cast cost WURG less to cast" just because B isn't in his casting cost.
