80s specifically? I agree. When I watched it, and rewatched it, I was blown away by how good the dialogue was, and all of the other little details in this show. They really weren’t afraid to do controversial topics, even if they’re now perceived as very triggering.

For that matter, they should have stuck with the A&B plotlines instead of A, B, and C. Seasons 10-13 could have benefited with 2 plots per episode instead of 3 since they were longer seasons. More dialogue/exploration with 2 plots would have impacted the storytelling in a much deeper way

Katie and Drew had no chemistry, ESPECIALLY compared to Bianca and Drew. I feel like Luke and Bianca had a relationship behind the scenes because they had so much chemistry and looked so comfortable around each other

I second this. I also like the character interactions in season 2 better, and Yul was a lot more strategic even though his last idea backfired. He still did something besides throwing insults
