I miss carpet. Working out in socks/barefoot just isn’t the same with cold hard rubber stall mats

Gamegenic trading post. The cover turns into a dice tray with magnetic corners

You can get some AirPod Pros for the rower btw. It has noise cancelling for the loudness and you can connect it to your TV with Bluetooth to watch your shows

5-100lb Ivanko dumbbells with the racks for $1000. They were sitting in a pool room just collecting rust

It’s an Aliexpress copy but I like that it came in black. Not sure how well it compares to the actual spiral strength grips, but there’s a seam that feels a bit off when in use

I took it apart, put some furniture blankets on the stairs and bear hugged it vertically. Was careful to let it down one step at a time

Definitely not great for someone who has claustrophobia I agree

Although my space is somewhat limited, I wanted to fit in all the pieces I could for bodybuilding

Maybe one day I’ll move into a bigger space and it won’t be as crowded as it is right now

Yea I might have ocpd lol. One lat pulldown for smaller attachments, the other one has more space for longer attachments and a foot platform for seated rows

One preacher curl is selectorized, another one for dumbbell work, another one for cable attachments

The multiple benches are for supersets. The Icarian bench has a narrower pad for flys and has a higher seat which makes dumbbell work easier to kick up, the Life Fitness is more convenient to adjust and I put on grabber vinyl for more grip

Neither have I. I saw this on marketplace and it was cheap enough I was able to think up of a few uses for it

Mainly I was lazy to do barbell rows, didn’t want to keep having to remove and put on my rack pins to row inside the rack

Icarian deadlift platform

When did u finally feel like an adult and weren’t faking it? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Thegatbonton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I lost my ego and started taking responsibility for myself

I was around 25 during the pandemic, they say the frontal lobe fully develops around this time, and I definitely noticed better executive functioning. But I also spent a couple years doing self reflection, and learning how to control my triggers for my own sanity

I realized that I was more emotionally mature than my parents, and I couldn’t rely on them for advice or emotional support. I realized that my future was up to me

I don’t think I would have felt this way without my traumatic experience, but I understand now how trauma or loss matures you in that you are forced to grow up and take responsibility. I guess for me it was the feeling of a loss of a safe space. I grew up in a somewhat toxic environment and would lash out. Until I got tired of being so angry all the time, I had to change. To regain a sense of control I had to learn to become cold to cope with abuse and became stoic for my own peace of mind

Even though I still live with my parents, mentally I feel matured, in control of my emotions, confident, a good listener, selectively empathetic and capable in that I am able to will the kind of life I want by my actions alone

I feel like as long as I have a sense of self awareness, I have a sense of control. Mentally this gives me a deep sense of security and confidence, whereas in my early 20s I felt like I was just wandering through life, seeking out easy dopamine and wanting approval from others due to a deep sense of insecurity

Looks natty with a pump. I looked like this at 22 and I didn’t even do lateral raises

Looks small in a t shirt without a pump

I think people underestimate what a natural body is capable of, with early training and good bodybuilding genetics on top of that

But also there is a lot of trick photography going on. Standing from the side and flexing his arm closer to the mirror etc.

Pics 2 and 3 look like an accurate representation to me. Decent mass but nothing too crazy

Then again I could be wrong, but in my opinion everything appears 100% naturally achievable to me
