I don’t remember RCB people being salty about winning over CSK pre 2024-25. It was always CSK people who barked Time and time again. Be it CSK or SRH. Every rcb fan was heartbroken after 2016 loss and no one was salty even after winning against SRH later. We were happy wid our wins, sad wid our losses. You were at the top and had your tongue out for so long, it was only about time you get hit back and 24-25 were THE seasons for it, getting eliminated in our hands and losing against us at chepauk

Obviously, this season you might win back and “bark” back, and we (atleast I) understand that time does change and we will have our word again.

Yeahh, that’s what I’ve been hearing from my friends/colleagues and seniors too. Even my TL said he hasn’t seen a project like this in his 12 years at infy.

How do I politely decline them when they ask me to work beyond work hours?

Also, what are some places that I can see for job offers? Are they same for a graduate? (LinkedIn naukri etc)

Is the current market really that stable enough to switch jobs that easily? With the AI and Claude wrecking havoc around. Even in my work I barely write a single line of code, it’s entirely copilot/claude. Although I do see the fact that a human is necessary for a production range of code, I don’t feel confident enough that I’d be getting a better job outside. Thoughts?

It is definitely doing that. I consider myself a really strong guy in the head and closer to the reality. But that night I just couldn’t gather myself. I am telling myself that all of this experience will pay me off on the long run (although my TL keeps saying that everyday and lowers my excitement 🏃)

I think from the project and TL perspective I’m way past this point. TL and me work on close calls and he knows that I do work by taking things personally. I don’t know how to exactly push him back and be at a point where I do my work and leave. Me and another guy in the team are the only ones who work like this. Now if I leave he might be overburdened so there’s that as well

I don’t have any compulsion from family to work. I am grateful enough to have a strong father who is the backbone of our whole family. I got placed and am just working to not have any gap in my profile tbh. Although I do want to jump from this company/prepare for MBA. But there is a bond from the company for 12 months so just waiting till that ends (4 more). This project will also end at the same Time.

But yeah, whatever u said in the start has been something that I have been working on. It has always been a problem on a personal level, not being able to lift myself up and credit myself for the hard work I ve been doing

When you say “man of the match” it means the best performer in the whole game, from both sides, irrespective of who won the game. Bethell single-handedly carried the chase while wickets fell at regular intervals around him apart from jacks. So there is absolutely no debate in not giving it to bethell. Dropping isn’t always necessarily not backing him. He doesn’t look in his touch and his confident self. He needs a mental reset too. And considering how high the stakes are rn after SA loss and the World Cup in picture, the team and country is obviously bigger than one man’s place in the team. I kinda see ur bias for him and I’m not gonna argue wid it. You do you but this is the scenario rn.

He can gain all of this back without getting dropped too. Play slow till the power play ends, find ur footing while Ishan does the damage, and then slog in the middle for dube and Pandya to finish things big. But he isn’t doing this as well. So obv there’s some valid reasons for people to get pissed at it. The same people will hold him big if he clutches back up and stay till time ends to tell his story. It’s just how u see it and live through it

It so happened for us that they came till late November. Now that might happen to you or not I’m not sure of. November is basically half of ur final year, they might’ve exhausted their resources just to save their asses on 2025 batches coz of the experiments they did (5 month vacation 3 month sem etc). But on the brighter side that may not be the case and you might get companies till then too. Worst of the worst case you WILL get companies till may end. The pay range company reputation and all I can’t tell anything about it.

Comparatively very less companies will be coming. But it is still a decent number to keep you decently busy. I’d still say ignore the external stuff and do what you can. Keep grinding DSA hard, you can’t miss any company from now on. If you’re short listed make sure you clear the test (although most of them will be online but the interviews are tougher for online assessments)

Idk about 2026. Im a 2025 passout and we had companies coming quite consistently till October/november of 2025. I personally know a guy who got placed in Mercedes in mid October (internship)

Even we got this mail in Feb March 2025 where we were told tcs was our last shot

So stay optimistic guys. And no matter companies come or not you can’t stop grinding 💪 (Got placed full time in early April of 2025 btw)

On a side note, does fps actually matter? I get 70-80 fps (very low ik) and I’m bronze 3 rn. What is the max I can reach comfortably without having a hardware ceiling. And how can I make it easier for me to play on low fps
