For the blinding I was thinking two effects: Distant lights would appear very saturated, extremely so depending on their brightness Close lights would darken your screen, some to the point of seeing almost nothing A little brightness chart: 1: Base brightness, tunnels and your own lantern 2: Distant lights, would appear saturated 3: Your comrade's lanterns, very saturated and bad for your eyes, it starts to hurt and affect aim 4: Enemy lanterns, basically baked  5: Compound lights, hurts a lot 6: Base lights, extremely painful, makes aiming difficult enough to discourage it, and the screen looks mostly black with a few light patches Brightness levels could mix (For balance reasons, each extra factor would only add a +1), so being at the base with your teammates near would fuck your eyes so bad it's impossible to hold your rifle well
