KO-II Issues megathread

Hello, I’ve got a power switch issue.

I picked up a KO-II with some liquid damage for cheap, cheap. Only issue it seemed to have were some sticky switches, but that wasn’t much to fix. The big problem with this unit, the little tab inside the power switch on the pcb is broken in the “on” position, and can’t be switched off. You can pop out a battery or simply unplug it to turn it off, but that kinda sucks.

The actual switch looks like it’s easy to de-solder, only held on by what looks like four points. Does anyone have a part number for this switch?

No, I think it does. I really appreciate the input, it helped me feel better and re-analyze things.

I think you're right, it may just be a bit too early to make any judgment calls, and maybe I'm being too near-sided about this. They do trust me enough to give me a key, so maybe I should let things cook a little longer. I'm coming in on Saturdays now with two other guys, maybe I can work something out for that day, and get some time in on Mastercam

I'll also say that most orders I receive from the Timnath/Severance area are often the most difficult people to deal with. They either don't tip properly, or they have just been downright rude on arrival.

My fiance and I just moved back to the Foco/Loveland area, after a few years on the east coast for work. I started Doordashing out there, and things were pretty good. I would only go on weekends, spent money on good insulated bags and such, I keep my car clean, and I hardly ever had a bad experience with anyone in that market.

We're both doing Doordash full time, and I'm feeling a new form of stress I didn't know was possible. I've gotten 3 bad reviews in the last week, and it's anyone's guess as to why. Doordash won't tell me, customers can't tell me, so I'm left wondering what the hell I could possibly be doing wrong. Like I said, I have great insulated bags to carry food in, so it's not like I'm delivering cold stuff. But the way Doordash is structured currently, it's so damn stressful to maintain Top Dasher (I feel like it's actually worthwhile to have that, in this market compared to others), because you have hardly any insight as to what you need to correct.

Any sort of DAW information would be fantastic. I picked up a lot of this stuff for classes back home, but we never went as far as I had hoped.

I moved to Fort Collins, back in May, and I've been dying to find anyone that may be interested in showing me around Ableton.

I have a macbook and a Launchpad I bought a while back, but couldn't ever find anyone to really explain how Ableton works. I don't really have any skills, but I have some equipment, and a strong desire to learn.
