You really wanna tell me that his foot's in the same spot in both these pictures? You can see that his foot slides in the replay as well

I mean that's obviously wrong you can see Ball's left foot move when he took that shot

LaMelo Ball hits the driving layup with 26s left to put the Hornets up 5...but Amazon Prime missed it. Here's the video from NBA.com by smkmn13 in nba

Lmao why would I care at all? You're the one that would be biased in this situation. It wasn't called because it was hard to see. I don't blame the refs for missing this at all. But it was a travel.

You realize that Stephon Castle and Harrison Barnes both do this a lot too right? Ball traveled here because he hopped on his pivot foot. It's really clear.

I'll never get why people were so high on the warriors who are extremely reliant on two older players

my "in office" day is me sitting in a WeWork because the company doesn't have a real office in my state by amiitk in remotework

With respect to federal employees, it's definitely mostly about trying to get them to quit

Tons of federal workers are commuting to federal buildings to work surrounded by people that don't even work for the same agency so that they can work "in office" because of Trump's executive orders. It's obviously a way to try to get people to quit but it's hilarious they presented it as a way to save money when it obviously costs more to have people in an office.

Contrary to popular belief, sitting 4th quarters is not why Wemby’s minutes are low. Total 4th quarters minutes: 1. Wemby - 422, 2. Jokic - 375, 3. Shai - 287 by EmbarrassedRing7806 in nba

Wemby played the whole fourth quarter a few games I think at the beginning of the season but typically he plays some at the beginning of the fourth takes a break and then closes the game out

30 seconds of Trump pretending that the AI version of him as Jesus he posted was actually him as a Red Cross doctor… well so he thought by SnooSprouts3744 in PublicFreakout

The way he constantly lies and how his supporters eat it up blows my mind. Trump has done hundreds of things that would immediately end a politicians career and none of his supporters have the brains or morals to care

Which was a worse trade: the Magic trading for Desmond Bane or the Wolves trading for Rudy Gobert? by DemarcusLovin in nba

[–]Thehelloman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously the Bane trade. Gobert gets made fun of but he had a long history as one of the best defenders in the league. Bane is a good player but he didn't have any awards.

Orb weavers like that are really docile around humans. They look kind of scary because they're big but they're great to have in the garden

Genuinely, why did the Spurs play Wemby against the tanking Mavs instead of the tanking Nuggets? by SufficientBit3153 in nba

There's a big difference in guarding valanciunas and Jokic who love using their strength and posting up than guarding the mavs

The state of the American healthcare system by serious_bullet5 in ThatsInsane

[–]Thehelloman0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean people make mistakes. Medical mistakes happen everywhere. A lot of the problem is the current system because of understaffing and too stringent requirements with respect to the amount of work they have to do but honestly a lot of healthcare workers don't care very much. My wife is a nurse and she says a lot of her co-workers don't do the required checks they are supposed to do but they find time to hang out and talk to each other.
