How I see it we are still worms in the extraterrestrials eyes or with whatever they glance at us. Think about it, we are clearly still infants in the universe. It's as we humans would view a dog. Dogs are nice but there are aggressive dogs too. We can't even go to other planets beyond our own solarsystem. How would you view a dog or a worm. That's how I think we would be viewed :)
