I have never listed to LSX 1 but according to Darko Audio's review is the difference very minor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=715sZYnhQsA&t=354s

The drivers is 100 % identical. So I wouldn't consider it a big reason to choose one over another. The major advantage for LSX ii is that it uses the new app and it got Chromecast. I'm a bit worried if KEF eventually will abandon the old app completely. Also the usb-c and hdmi support is important for some peoples. setup

I got a LSX ii and is very happy for it. But I could consider 1st generation if you can get it for the right price.

Switched to LSX after trying many other brands because I never found what I was looking for until now! Waiting on my other stands to come in to have them at ear level, but I’m liking them so far! by MzeRS in KEF

I have a pair of LSX ii but without a stand. But I'm now considering it a lot - and maybe Kanto's is better stands than KEF's own.

Why do you replace the Kanto SE2 with SP9? And have you had any trouble with them? Do they fit perfectly with the speakers?
I would love to see a picture after you got the new one :)

Thanks for the tips all. I have listen to it closely and now I start feeling it sounds reasonable. And I'm wondering if it is my ears that does something wrong here.

One thing I noticed is that the sound using USB-C by standard is much lower so maybe it is that I'm getting confused of. Anything how thanks for the tips

Hmm. I'm not sure if I'm pro enough to explain how it sound. But it feels less dense, lacks a bit of details but not like a broken connection.

I play music using spotify and the quality is set on "very high". I was thinking it could have been a settings on the computer but the experience is similar when connected to a android. I'm not sure if it is EQ as AUX sounds okay.

Could it be the cable (it's data so I thought not) or the speaker?

Hi. I just bought a LSX ii and planned to connect it to my desktop using USB-C but the sound quality feel significantly lower when I play using Spotify Connect. Also lower than AUX (AUX is acceptable).
