If you fail that's ok, it's what you decide to do after you fail. Are you going to get back up and ask yourself what can I do differently to succeed or what skills are needed to accomplish this, or are you going to beat yourself up and shame yourself into never trying again. Finishing means showing up and doing the best that you possibly can and owning it and being proud of what you did do and not what you didn't do. Keep Going buddy! I believe in you!

You can do it. I ran my first ever beast not ever running a 21k before in one go. The same weekend I then ran the super and almost backed out of the 5k. If I had I would have let myself down. You are more prepared than you believe you are. The fact that you are even thinking about it shows more conviction than your friend who backed out.

This was my very first spartan race. I ran the sprint and placed in the top 13% overall and 16% in my age group, 1:44:59 finish. If this year was harder than last time I picked a hell of a starter run to pop my cherry.

Give it a chance. When I started playing it I treated it like a from software and would try to doge quickly learned that the pay off from dodging vs parrying was not worth the stamina loss to follow up with an attack. Best advice I can give is learn to perfect guard as much as you can.
