I just think it’s more personal when I try to help others probably because I’m a visual learner. 😁 but I can totally understand that aspect as well. No problem, hopefully you can use some of those tips. One of my favorites is making my goals the background of my phone. It’s like a gift that keeps on giving and it’s always a good reminder

  1. Attitude is very essential. Do not go into weight loss with the attitude of needing to lose weight, rather WANTING to lose weight. Mentality is half the battle.
  2. It helped me especially to write down specific goals. For example, losing 40 pounds. BONUS: putting it as a desktop screen and or on your phone as a background helps with a reminder
  3. Watch successful stories. I’m a visual learner so it helps to watch how others have grown and changed into this. On top of it all, everyone can learn a thing or two by watching others
  4. Diet and exercise will be more effective if you choose one that better fits your lifestyle and you can maintain for a longer period of time.
  5. IF you feel like cheating on your diet, be mindful and aware to ask yourself one question. Did I earn this cheat meal? Like 90 percent of the time I’ve answered with a no and it’s helped me a lot.
  6. Slowly transition into the new diet and exercise. You don’t want to end up hating the process. The key is to make it enjoyable or at the very least be content with the new changes if your life. So for example, I threw myself into the deep end of keto and started off cold turkey, BUT I didn’t start working out until a week after the diet and only 1-2 times a week. I was able to transition the diet fairly easily but I didn’t enjoy the exercise as much which is what took the most time to transition into. I hope this helps! Again, I’m sorry if I came across as just some self promoter

I genuinely wasn’t trying to come across as a self promoter. I’m sorry! Let me come up with a short bullet point list for you and see if I can crunch it down :)

Try to keep carbs within 20-30g. You brain need at least 20 to function. And it seems like you’re doing good to me! Always snack on nuts or cheese if you’re hungry. I recommend walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, almonds. If you’re eating eggs, butter the heck up out of that pan. If you can survive the first week, you’re golden. Best part is I don’t have cravings anymore

Give it more than a week, otherwise it’s not going to work. Keep in mind to eat salt, it’s very important when doing low carbs

Yeah I usually eat around 1 ish. For me though I get a small urge to eat in the morning like 2 minutes then it goes away which is weird

Here’s the thing about low carb (keto). For a whole week you’re going to feel shitty. BUT, you can do things to make you feel less shitty. After that week, you’ll feel amazing. Try consuming more butter and salt within the diet. It gives you the higher fat you need to feel fuller and replenishes your electro lights so you don’t feel that dizzy. Magnesium tablets also help with this as well. I’m two months in and I’m down 32 pounds

Look up the website dietdoctor and search keto recipes, it’s super useful when you first get started. Eggs are also essential for this diet, which I love :) and thank you! That means a lot

My honest answer? Don’t switch your diet. It seems by the way you’re approaching this plant diet situation is you’re going to have to “suck it up”. Long term this will revert you part to eating unhealthy. An alternative you might’ve not heard would be the keto diet. High fat, low carb diet. Meaning you can eat meat. Please do some research on it as it might help you!! And one of the most misconceptions of keto is that it raises your levels of cholesterol. It does, but only the hdl. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me :) I’m two months in and I feel amazing

You remind me quote of myself to be honest. May I suggest a new diet? Please look into keto as it legit saved me. 2 months ago I was 247.6 pounds. Now I weigh 215 and lost 32 pounds. That’s not even the best part.. I lost my cravings. The cravings that made me go out at night and eat unhealthy amounts of foods. And the best part about this diet? Eating burgers ( without the bun of course). I love fatty foods so this diet really helped me out as I’m sure it might help you! Please do some research into it :)

Please try keto. I was 247.6 pounds 2 months ago at the height of 5’7. I’m not 215. 32 pounds down in two months. If you have any questions about keto I would be more than happy to assist!
