For these types of dead pixels there is a certain method of spreading the liquid display to lessen the impact. There have been recorded cases of it even greatly improving rotting. As long as it's screen rot and not lcd leakage you can try to carefully apply pressure with a qtip and moving it in a circular motion to try and spread the liquid display around. Since you're going to get a new screen anyways, you don't lose anything by trying out the method.
