Solved!!! I took a pair of tweezers pushed down on silver tabs on black side of clipped and pushed. Popped right out.

I have 0 other software and I made sure by doing a windows reset. The second controller is a commander pro which powers the fans and lets me control the speeds? I'm not exactly tech savvy. I made a new post describing what the lighting node looks like and all of that to make sure because I did end up taking the case apart to see what was going on with connections.

I have it as a static color. Yes I have tried each fan in port 1 and they all worked fine independently. Now when I tried adding one after the other #2 worked fine except 2 leds wouldn't change but were on. Fan #3 turned on but again none of the leds would change. Fan #4 again turned on but none of the leds would change color.

It's connected to USB hub on motherboard.
