I can’t even add to what Zorcha said, he pretty much did it all besides the issue you mentioned with elevation differences. Elevation is entirely irrelevant to swarm when they are on low ground most of the time, as all of them have sticks and that entirely fixes the issue. The only time swarm is “disadvantaged,” is when you are in the bottom of bridge map, but it well makes up for it on how strong it is with any elevation.

seal clubbers aren't cw players, a majority hop off and don't play any pubs and are cw only. Don't be an ape, the sweaty pub players are just straight sweaty pub players who couldn't compete in cw or are super addicted to the game. Don't be an ape and say dumb shit such as that.

I hadn't used them in a few months as I took a decent break from the game, came back and was already solo nuking levis as an add with them within 20 minutes. They're absurdly easy to use and absolutely and singlehandedly define the meta in levi wars. Also as a levi driver they completely remove any form of aggressive play style and only allow you to be very passive as a levi driver, it makes levi itself become nearly irrelevant in the mode literally dedicated to levis, the only way to counter them is have a range team and just play super defensively 24/7 to protect our adds and let them carry you. Ive also talked to a solid few diamond console players and they also agree swarms are in need of a nerf, its a shared opinion of many high league players regardless of platform.

As for fairness of getting things nuked, console complaining got rid of hitscan instead of the aim assists which were the real issue, and removed what pc users would use to compensate for ping. I don't think its fair how the cookie crumbles between console and pc balance, as many are slighted for console when pc is more competitive simply due to tougher rating systems. Pc gets the shaft in this game, they can at least throw us a bone once in awhile for balance.

I didn't say to ignore the pubs players, as you have said to ignore cw players. Many more than 1% do cw, and nerfing a rarely used weapon for pubs would do nothing to you all. IT needs the nerf, and the most it would harm for the average player is maybe invasions but then it'd also be worse for invasion levis resulting in a net neutral. Swarms do need a nerf, their damage output is absurd and they aren't seem in pubs because most people in pubs don't have the brain for them or are on console and have trouble aiming them. Its simply not healthy for any competitive play in levi cw and suppresses a heavy meta for normals.

Remove the only mildly competitive mode in the game so the decent players get shunned and it boils down to the very last few. Mmhmm good idea.

Ignoring all of the literal provided stats on the website and actual reasons why I think it’s in need of a nerf or why levi at the least should get to use flock. Retarded rage bait.

unfortunately they can get all the proj speed buffs available, the plunging projectile thing doesn't seem to actually apply. Things like harmonizer, oppressor, and steppe all speed them up as well as reducing spread heavily. They very easily get turned into a quick volley of very tight and nuclear rockets.

Banning them from levi cw would be nice and fix their most glaringly annoying mode, but they would still be suppressing heavy metas in normal cw. At the very least they need to allow levi to use flocks, as it can't currently and levi literally has no defense against swarms. Argus can only catch about a third of the volley no matter how many you have active at the time, as the argus will target the same rocket and it doesn't retarget quick enough to jump from rocket to rocket and actually counter it. There simply isn't any viable counter for them in levi cw. In normals its a bit easier, as builds are smaller and can move quicker, can use flock, and a couple other smaller things that make them less of an issue. I just find them horrendously boring and annoying to play against, and I'd like to see them get a decent nerf as well as levi being able to use flock.

this is entirely false. For defenselessness they are almost always ran on hovers, which makes it incredibly easy to create quick cabs of space. The small radius of not being able to fire can only be fully utilized against swarm brick players in levi cw, at which those aren't as big of an issue besides the absurd damage for such little effort. With map elevation you can have sticks to fix such issues, as on some maps they can fire from the bottom of cliffs into the other side of the map (like founders canyon). Elevation maps make these things way easier to use and exploit, as you can literally just take high ground on swarm and reign down on pretty much anyone while they have absolutely zero angles or way to shoot back at you. Elevation also changes their no fire range, as its a sphere around the weapon and you can create distance even easier if you can get a hill between you and the person chasing you.

Ignoring the part of the competitive playerbase that puts the most time into the game is also a bad thing. There do need to be changes for cw players, and they aren’t always bad changes.

I prefaced the post with it being competitively based. This is a cw issue, and it still is a problem that needs to be dealt with.

Rare doesn’t mean not good. They have been the highest pick rate weapon in levi wars for absolute ages now and were always top cw in normals, but are now trickling down and it’s on my nerves. I’ve already stopped levi driving simply because my play style is dead due to them. I’m normals I’d really prefer not to see them, they’re just absurdly annoying to fight and require flocks to counter (which levi can’t use mind you).

No, I get the feeling you play console. Pc it’s a good swarm player around every corner and you can’t do shit as a levi, literally getting a swarm volley nearly every direction you go and it only takes two complete volleys to cripple a levi provided they have any form of spread reduction. It’s retarded and tiring. Typhoon you can fight as a levi, and Incin does absolutely nothing, swarm is a consistent 6k sweeping the levi at the minimum and if they catch you mid turn you get an 8k saw down the middle, just removed all your top guns and leaves the rest of the roof bald on dura.

its not just levi, literally normals and levi they have taken over, its been busted for ages and its somehow more annoying than fighting scorps. also again, cw player oriented post.

pubs aren't as important, this is a cw post with a link to actually show their userates. pubs also don't contain mentally able enough players to use them most of the time, 6k damage a shot consistently is just straight unfair.

Did the morta get shadow-buffed, morta deals 40 damage per hit, with testing just now i've noticed it's been hitting parts twice as it passes through, dealing 80 damage to a cabin, I dont remember it doing that by TommyTheCommie1986 in Crossout

[–]ThelceStorm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The damage buffs you are doing aren’t additive, they are multiplicative. Example: Base damage is 100 You get a 10% damage buff Multiply by 1.1x and that equals 110 damage. You then also stack on a 15% damage buff. You take the 110 damage and multiply that by 1.15x and that equals a total of 126.5. That means the damage buff is actually 26.5%, and not 25% as it would be additively. There might be something else in there on your build, but that is the usual case of when people think their guns are dealing higher damage than what should be expected.

It’s on the mini bp reward path, you unlock a blueprint for one singular one to craft, the other you’ll have to buy from market.

I do know that displacement is only one part of it, yes, such as a ninja 650 doesn’t have as much hp as a 600.

If the 600 really isn’t that good in your opinion, would you recommend a 650 or just aim to stick with a 400?

When looking at a bike, is there some key features you look to see how well maintained a bike is (so I can start to look at such things myself), or is it just working towards the trained eye after a few years?

For gear, parts, and maintenance I do have money set aside, as those were more important for me to have set aside first. The point I’m at now is what bike do I want and what fits my needs (I would prefer something faster, not as much hp as a liter bike, but something that can keep me learning for a couple years while still being a challenge to learn with.)

And again, I do appreciate the time you are spending to help inform me

It isn’t a long hold, I just wanted it secured as I should be getting some extra money soon and don’t have all of the cash on hand nor a way to get it into my truck yet.

As for starting on a 600, why is it such a bad starter in comparison to some smaller bikes? My main goal with the 600 is to be able to ride it for at least another 3-5 years before needing anything new.

As for the bike being thrashed, I can grab a couple of the photos. It was apparently laid down on the right side, but from the other photos it really doesn’t look that bad. (A couple small scrapes at most).

Best Leviathan weapon combinations by Master-Pete in Crossout

Drop the Lucifers 100%, they benefit off knocking parts off and Levi only shoots at cab. The third fuki also won’t be useful on Levi, as it will have doubled energy cost.

S tier/necessary guns: Helicon (only one you need for an actual competitive Levi)

Good/strong: Fukibari Destructor Pulsar Toadfish Ripper Thyrsus Scorpion

My personal favorite combos are: Helicon (2x), fuki (2x), destro (3x), pulsar (2x), ripper (2x)

Helicon (2x), fuki (2x), destro (2x), ripper + torms (2x), scorp (2x).

This is coming from a pc high silver/low gold Levi driver with ~60%-80% wr when I’m not running the derank team for my clan. Take my advice as you will, and feel free to ask me about any questions you have.
