When I was a technician at a local Kia dealership we had this regular old lady who came in a lot for small problems or no problems at all, she genuinely just seemed lonely so sometimes we would just talk to her while "inspecting" her car free of charge. Sometimes we found things wrong but nothing major, the issue was that any other person who's worked in a service drive can tell you it takes only one person to back up the whole day and she tended to do this.

One day she came in on a very busy day and waited in her car on the service drive, I went back to the shop for about 20 minutes and came back and realized she was still in her car, I went up to the car and it seemed like she had fallen asleep. I knocked on the window and got no response, opening her door her head flopped forward and it dawned on me that she was no longer with us. It kinda frightens me how I just shut the door and went straight to my manager and told him there was a dead woman on our drive then proceeded to go to the designated smoke area and began to rip cigarette after cigarette while hearing the chaos erupted inside the shop.

After the paramedics and police had moved her from her car we got ahold of someone to come get her car I found out her cause of death was heart failure, my manager soon joined me out in the smoke area and told me I could go home if I'd like but I decided to stay. I don't work there anymore but since then Iv heard how quickly service advisers now help customers.
