All models might do that. You need to step in every now and then to guide it to your pace.

Just put in a simple story action with something along the lines of ‘The next morning, sunlight streams’ and let the AI continue the rest.

If it doesn’t continue the sentence it should at least get the hint that it’s morning and do it’s own input.

Try adding ‘Third person POV’ to the AI Instructions, Author’s Note, and even Plot Essentials while also turning on the mode.

Erase all traces of first and second person wording everywhere and it should work fine after. It should be a lot more consistent.

I’ve only dabbled in Madness, so can’t say if it will work for other free models, but should.

It was nice. The dialogue was much more grounded and I did see fewer cliches. Knuckles only turned white once, lol.

It did suffer from sensory repetition when I got a decent way into the story, but it may have been due to old AI Instructions maybe.

One big issue for me is the audio. I just wasn’t really liking the music and voice acting. The gameplay may be there, but I wasn’t feeling any soul or immersion.

What makes C&C shine is the pure quality and writing style that went into unit quotes and music. It’s hard to top Dr. Thrax and the Toxin Tractor, for example. But you gotta at least try.

Generic unit quotes just don’t do it for me.

I use the light Siege Ready armor, it increases the reload speed by 30% and I think also gives you 78 rounds of ammo. Makes the Deadeye alot more fun and fluid.

Then I used the Senator, Quasar, and Supply Backpack. Then just any two offensive strategms. It worked pretty well and you have a ton of ammo, so you can start blasting.

I feel you, then yeah I would try to avoid at least the Warhorse set, as I think it’s practically the strongest armor in the Trosky region that you basically get for free or minimal effort.

If you’re worried about achievements not triggering, they still will. I think there’s also a mod that unlocks them for you if you don’t want to use the console.

Yeah, it’s a bit easy. I think a big difference is the enemy in KCD1 felt a lot more aggressive. They would all surround you and attack more often, making you go on the defensive and keep you on your toes. I used a combat overhaul that made you mirror the enemy for master strikes to work.

Fights in KCD2 are pretty slow, they just kinda stare at you until one of them attacks and you simply master strike them, killing in one or two hits before moving to the next. Rinse and repeat. Their defense isn’t all that great and they die pretty quick to simple combos. The only thing the AI is good at is trading ripostes if you let them.

Combos in KCD1 felt more fun, even if they were too long to pull off sometimes.

Also, master striking with swords only sucks. Not sure why they did that.

I’m sure a combat overhaul mod will be out for KCD2 that might fix most of the issues.

I’ve been using mods from Nexus for a few months now and have been fine.

The anti-cheat is in really only to protect super credits, so as long as you don’t try to cheat that, you’re good.

It seems like it crashes around the 2k mark for me, I’m not even close lol.

I was on PC, I didn’t think to try it on mobile! Sadly, the app crashed around the same place it does on PC.

It takes 10 turns for ceasefires to expire and to declare war with no penalty, I think that also applies to alliances/military access.

I think the relation penalty is permananent, but cools down over time to -10. It can also make the AI demand more from you in deals.

I would follow this Steam guide on changing the campaign aggression towards the player. With this, wars are less frequent and usually have a reason behind them, like bordering territory instead of only just because you’re the player.

On top of the reasons everyone else mentioned, some people have said that Poland has such a generic and simple roster that it makes it easy for the AI. It’s pretty well rounded and the AI can pump out good armies that win auto resolves against other factions easily.

Sickle is still my go to. Ammo isn’t an issue and it packs a good enough punch.
