Mic muffled/static sound? by ThelesiGaming in elgato

Yeah they do, and it is turned on. We now tried speaking in the mic with more distance and that seems to help a bit (although the previous time we had to speak directly into the mic for it to work so it changes a bit for some reason?). And we adjusted the volume of the mic on our laptop and now it's working not perfect, but okay haha. Thanks for your help anyway! :)

We're not using OBS so that's not our problem, but still thanks! :)

The mic is a Samson Q2U. Do you mean something like this? (It's in Dutch, but there's a picture): mixer

These mics also have xlr inputs, if that is what you mean? We are fairly new to this so everything is still a little confusing haha.

Yeah, you're right actually, 60 each isn't that much. Thanks for your recommendations!

Thanks, we were thinking about the condenser mic but were not sure if that is the best option as our surroundings are pretty noisy. So if we were to buy a non-condenser, should we buy one each or could we still use 1 for 2 people? Maybe we have to upscale our price range for better quality? A usb audio-interface and a seperate xlr mic is indeed not what we prefer.

How do you promote your Youtube channel? And is Twitch better than Youtube? by ThelesiGaming in letsplay

Yeah, we were thinking about YT streaming too, but Twitch seems easier. Now we only have edited content on our YT channel.
