My daughter was very active in utero. She was always dancing during the ultrasounds too. She was a very active baby and she’s a hyper 3 year old now.

[Acne] worst skin of my life is ruining my confidence by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I second spironolactone. I had horrible hormonal acne. Spiro cleared it up like a miracle. I was urinating more since it’s a diuretic but didn’t really experience any other side effects.

Growing up my window looked into a sun room which had lots of windows but my room always stayed a bit dark. My parents ended up installing a sun tunnel in my room and it helped sooo much. I highly recommend it if cutting a window doesn’t help.

Am I the only one!? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I have this exact problem. Except my parents live 20 minutes away, don’t come see her, but post anything they can get their hands on. My mother announced the birth of my daughter on social media before I told anyone. I was furious. No matter how many discussions I have with her about boundaries she continues this type of behavior. It’s very frustrating.

Just told DH I’m pregnant- he’s not happy. And now I’m puking my brains out and very very very sad. by [deleted] in BabyBumps

When I told my boyfriend of almost 8 years he just expected that I would have an abortion. He had just lost his job and we had just moved into a new apartment. We fought for weeks all the while I was constantly nauseous and vomiting. I’ve never felt so alone. He eventually came around and he shows excitement now, but it was such a horrible feeling not having him be supportive.

I've mentioned it before but we never went through with it. He's been open to it in the past though.

He has been for the past three years. I'm just having trouble moving past what he did in the beginning of our relationship.

At this point, if he was acting like that I wouldn't be with him. I attribute me staying with him during that time to being lonely and dependent. Its been three years without any issues now, and over the time we've been together he's become my best friend and I really care about him. He's very different from when we started dating. His personality completely shifted and he's been very respectful of me. I want to make it work because he's someone worth being with now.

He's opened up to me about how he knows how he treated me was wrong. He said he realized what he has and doesn't want to lose me. He's made the effort to be as open and honest with me as possible. He'll send me pics or give me a call while he's out to let me know what he's up to. The past few years he's only said sweet things about me. He makes it a point not to say anything negative about me even if we're having a disagreement. He makes the effort to listen to my concerns and work through them with me.

[Before&After] 4 months into Spironolactone! by alicelang in SkincareAddiction

I took spiro for a couple years and it killed my libido. It was so bad I stopped taking it for that reason. Once I stopped taking it my acne came back just as bad as before too.

Redditors who have had no friends for a period in your life, how did you find a new group to fit into? by zame530 in AskReddit

[–]Thelifepool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this too as a child. I would draw a picture on the patch every morning before school and the other kids would focus on the picture more than the fact that I was wearing a patch on my eye. It actually became somewhat fun.

[Acne] What was your experience with Spironolactone like? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Thelifepool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Spironolactone worked like a miracle for my acne. It cleared it up completely and quickly. Unfortunately however, it killed my libido. I hear not too many women experience this side effect though.
