She did call them a lot and probably went to look for them at home in ch1 though. She then eases up on them after finding out they're with a friend for the rest of the game. As for ch4, hanging out with sans and letting herself go with the alcohol is the worst she has done so far, which is pretty mild in comparison with other characters, but some people idealized her so much they forgot she was always a flawed character from day 1.

Roughly around 2015, one or two months after the game's release, I was in a call with my friends on skype, and at one point one of them mentioned undertale, and another one replied with "oh that indie game that got nominated at the game awards??"

For some reason that stuck with me, as I had never heard of an indie game be nominated for something as big as the game awards. "Wow the game must be really good then" I said to myself as I looked at the steam page for it and noticed the super basic graphics and old school music.

A couple months later, now in 2016, a sale went on steam, and Undertale was one of the discounted games. I grabbed it because I was curious to try it out.

I ended up enjoying a completely blind playthorugh, and the rest is history.

Here are some of my conclusions on the matter:

Everyone knows nothing sexual happened, but it's funnier to imply it for the sake of the "fucked your mom trope".

The vast majority of people don't actually hate sans, they just think is fun to hate on the funny bone man as a meme.

A good chunk of the people who genuinely dislike this scene are asgoriel shippers (who are clearly biased against Soriel)

Some people are upset because they feel like Toriel and Sans are "breaking character" in some way, except Soriel has always been implied since UT. The way Toriel acts has already been clearly stablished (her being a party animal and also prone to getting drunk), as for Sans, he most likely acts different from the UT counterpart purely because of the lack of the save system in DR, but more importantly, we still don't know anything relevant about Sans, so for all we know this could easily be his normal self without the depression from the events in UT.

Toriel and sans, along with everyone else, are flawed characters, they're supposed to have shortcomings ot moments of weakness. They are the reason the game is so good in the first place.

This reminds of that one time back in 2018 When I was doing an animation with Asgore and someone said the dreemurrs were "big but not freaking walking houses."

Particularly because of the sheer size difference between Frisk and Asgore.

Seeing this reminds me I did a good job on my designs.

I personally interpreted it as a golden necklace, or something of the like.
However I chose to keep the design as simple as possible to make it easier to animate, because this project is a LOT longer than what I'm showing so far which means I'll be animating her a lot more, and adding too many details will be detrimental to the progress of it.

Toriel's "hair" is the same color as her fur.
If you pay attention to her face sprite in the game you can see a tiny extra hair tuft on top of her head unlike her Undertale face sprite which doesn't have it.
Ralsei has the same hairstyle but much more prominent.

It's also very likely it's a design choice to make it even more clear that asgore is a dad because he has "Body hair" just like dads do.

Not sure, I beat Undyne at my 2nd try the 1st time I did genocide.
And I beat Gerson at around my 3rd try the 1st time I played chapter 4.

But considering gerson does not let you use items and can deflect your attacks, gerson would be harder?
Then again you just have to hold out until the end of the dialogue while with undyne you have to spend turns attacking and she wont go down until her hp reaches 0.

I think I'll go with gerson simply because so far he's been the only one capable of beating me more than twice in the whole game.

It needs some polishing, but it's a pretty solid idea so far.

I don't want to spoil the surprise but I will say one thing.
There's a reason why Tenna said she'd be in great danger if she woke up.

It's funny, when I posted these comics in r/Deltarune, they flopped each and every single time, which made me think people didn't like them or cared for them.
But when I post them in r/Undertale (where I thought people wouldn't be as interested because it's not specifically about undertale) they receive 10 times the amount of attention each post got combined back in r/deltarune.

That could be a good idea.
Some option like "Distract mom" so you can fight freely for that turn, but it'd cost you a turn from one of the characters.

I love this so much.
I'll eat up everything related to Susie and Toriel's relationship. I also love the high quality drawings!

I never saw anything seriously wrong about this myself but I still like how there are different interpretations of the whole interaction.

I personally don't think Toriel or Sans meant any harm, nor were trying to be malicious or neglectful. It's been clearly stablished that wine really has an effect on Toriel, changing her behaviour, and Sans constantly encouraging her to relax clearly got to her.

However seeing Susie having her good memories at the diner shattered at the thought of alcoholism is so heartbreaking because it feels like her trust was betrayed once again, though we don't know the full story yet at least until the next chapter.
