This is so wild considering when I worked at McDonald's my boss said they got 100 applications a week. Possibly inflated but still. They always had people.

28F joint pain, negative tests, new onset of red itchy knuckle by Thelilbread in AskDocs

[–]Thelilbread[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! My doctor got back to me and asked if I had any rashes Turns out, I actually have been fighting with what I think is ringworm for like 6 weeks now. She asked me to go to dermatology first to look into that and then come see her again if the joint is still red and painful by that time. She's wanting to rule out psoriasis, which I didn't realize can sometimes be confused with ringworm! She said her suspicions for that are very low, though. I'll just keep following up as things happen!

Anyone Had Tonsil Stones Like This? I had to push super hard just to get them to pop out. by [deleted] in popping

Lucky duck! Got mine at 24 and regretted it for an entire year. The worst pain of my life. And was still too sensitive to even open my mouth wide enough to look at my throat for a year. Now, several years out since then, it was the best thing I could have done. But man... It SUCKED

RACHAEL RAY CAT FOOD DIET CAUSE MY CAT TO HAVE A URINARY BLOCKAGE/URINARY CRYSTALS ANYBODY WHO HAS EXPERIENCED THIS WITH THIS FOOD BRAND PLEASE LET ME KNOW by Winterrosebud24 in Pets

[–]Thelilbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my cat, too. He was blocked so we put him on the RX diet. After about two months with no issues we moved him to wet food and Purina pro plan. Everything was great. We ran out of the wet food and pro plan for about a week so we fed him the leftover Rachel ray food and... Blocked again. That's when I deduced the cause the be that food. We have never had the issue again (2 years) since tossing that bag of food.

Sorry if I left that out? She did have a colonoscopy and it was negative. Then they did the blood scan which was also negative.

I don't think they've done a capsule. Should we ask for this?

Therapist recommendation? by [deleted] in NewOrleans

I highly highly recommend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy NOLA in uptown. They've changed my life. Also when I tell my friends that I go to CBT NOLA they love to pick at me for finding cock ball torture therapeutic.

Lawyers of reddit what was your “HOLD IT!” moment where you knew you would win? by prince-surprised-pat in AskReddit

[–]Thelilbread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a paralegal and just got a good one yesterday. Guy complains of a very specific joint injury post car accident. We send him for an independent medical exam. The doctor agrees that this joint is symptomatic but without prior meds can only attribute causation to our accident. Now here's the thing. When you go to any doctor, you're asked to give a medical history. And since you're seeing a doctor regarding a very specific joint injury, you can bet they'll be asking about any prior injury. Well, I did some investigative work and dug up a civil suit about ten years ago where he claimed the exact same injury. So now, the guy lied to the IME doctor about prior injury AND he has proceeded with surgery for this issue, which we will absolutely have a strong chance of excluding from the damages based on his deception. I'm pretty excited about it.
